"Seriously, do you have to bring that much stuff?" Yeonjun groaned, slapping the trunk shut as Yeri flopped into the passenger seat. "You're going for a school trip, not migrating to another country."

Yeri rolled her eyes. "Excuse me for being prepared. What if there's a storm or something? Or we get stranded? Or—"

"You pack like you're starring in a survival drama."

"You whine like you're eighty."

Yeri snorted, sinking into her seat. Yeonjun pulled out the gates and they were soon on the

 highway.

"Can you not drive like you're in Fast & Furious?" Yeri muttered, clutching the seatbelt as

Yeonjun swerved around a turn like he had something to prove.

"I'm literally going the speed limit," he deadpanned, not even sparing her a glance.

"The way you're gripping the steering wheel says otherwise."

"Maybe if you'd packed your bags earlier instead of doing eyeliner for thirty five minutes—"

"It was ten. And I wanted to look good in case someone decided to take pictures."

Yeonjun gave her the most judgmental side eye known to mankind. "For who? The plants at the Jeju botanical garden?"

Yeri rolled her eyes, smacking the AUX button and blasting music just to shut him up. Of course, he lowered the volume two seconds later.

"Also," Yeonjun added casually, like it was a public service announcement, "Don't go running off with any boys on this trip. You're too young, and they're all dumb."

Yeri scoffed. ''Like you were a monk at my age.''

"I had taste," he shot back, smirking. "You? You've got that puppy eyed kid sniffing around."

Yeri stiffened.

"Oh, don't play dumb. Jake? That one? Stay away from him." He said his name with such detest it upset Yeri.

"What—why do you even—he's literally done nothing—!"

Yeonjun pointed a warning finger at her while switching lanes. "Exactly. It's always the quiet ones. He looks like he'd cry if you bumped into him, then write a song about it."

Yeri slapped his arm. "Can you not be weird for five seconds?"

He just grinned. "Don't say I didn't warn you."

Yeri groaned so loud it echoed. "You are so dramatic. I'm not running off with anyone."

By the time they reached the airport, Yeri was ready to throw her suitcase and her brother into the nearest terminal. She hopped out of the car the second he parked, eager to escape.
