Chapter one

<<Cassie's POV>>

Beep beep beep......                                           

Ugh I've never heard such a horrible sound on this sunny morning. Ew, school. I honestly hate school with a passion, like a deep passion. I don't hate school because I get bullied or anything... well when your dad is head Alpha no one really messes with you. So anyways I just hate school because no one really talks to me. I mean yes I'm very respected in my pack, it's just that when it was my 13th birthday something bad happened......

Flashback

I wake up to a warm feeling on my face. I open my eyes to see that it is finally morning aka my 13th birthday. I bolt out of bed and run down the 4 flights of stairs to the kitchen where I see my mom making blueberry pancakes while talking to my father. "Good morning Momma, good morning Daddy" I say as I walk in and give both a kiss on the cheek.

"Good morning sweetie" my mom says while hugging me.

"Good morning Cass. Happy birthday" my father says as he stands to give me a hug.

"Thank you Dad"

"Oh sweetie what time are your friends coming to the reservation for the party?" mom asks.

"Um I told everyone to meet here at 2pm and it is 10am now so they should be here in a little while."

"Well the pancakes are ready so go take a sit and I will bring them to you."

I go take an empty seat by my father. And dig into the pancakes once my mom sets them on the table. I moan at the taste. "Thanks mom. The pancakes where delicious." I say as I shovel down the rest of the pancakes down my throat

.... A while later...

Everyone just got here and now me and my best friend, jenny, are standing by the drinks talking about how many guests actually did show up. At the corner of my eye I see my crush, Jacob Landings. I accidently made eye contact with him and he ending up approaching me. 

"Hey." I say shyly.

"Hey birthday girl." He says with a smirk.

We laughed about anything we talked about and just enjoyed each other's company. Next thing you know we are pressed up to my fence.

"Can we try something?" Jacob asks

""uh sur-re" I stutter.

"Okay"

Jacob pushes me against the fence and starts to kiss me roughly. I don't like this one bit.

"Jake - please - stop-"I try to say between kisses.

I whimper as the kisses only become harder. Then I start to hear footsteps coming by the fence. Well obviously Jacob aka lover boy over here doesn't hear anything at all. I look up to see my mad father.

"What do you think you think you are doing with my daughter?" he says with a fierce tone.

"Um nothing sir. I'm just uh.. um... im.... Just" Jacob stuttered while trying to look at him.

"you just what?'

"I mean I was just trying to kiss her, I wasn't trying to do anything else."

"Cass, is this true?" father questions me.

"I mean he was trying to kiss me but I was telling him to stop." I said with fear in my voice because I didn't know what my father was going to do now that he knows the truth. By now everyone's eyes were on the sense and the music stopped playing.

I look back to see my father's face. All I can say is that he was mad.

"Is this true?" he questions Jacob, who looks like he is about to pee his pants.

"Ye-es"

"Well then I guess I should teach you a lesson about kissing my daughter."

Next thing i know Jacob is thrown across the yard into the pool. I was so shocked well just like everyone else.

"NOW IF ANYONE EVER MESSES WITH MY DAUGHTER JUST LIKE LOVER BOY, YOU WILL HAVING TO DEAL WITH ME. I DON'T CARE IF YOU ARE STILL A LITTLE PUP, I WILL STILL PUT YOU IN THE CELLER." My father screamed. After those words left his mouth, everyone bolted out of the backyard and I was left there standing alone.

Flashback Over

From that day on no one has ever messed or in that case really talked to me. I never told my parents that though, I just didn't want them to worry about me. I mean for god sake they have bigger things on their shoulders other than their stupid little pup.

I finally decide to get out of bed and go down the many stairs that we have. I get to the kitchen to see no one there. Sighing I take out some fruit loops and shove the cereal into my mouth. I walk up to my room to get dressed and grab my keys for my car. I get dressed in to some high wasted shorts and a black crop top with the batman logo on the front.  Throwing on some light makeup I make my way to my car.

I walk into school and go to my first class.  Ew... again. Literally everyone is so fake here. There's this girl that is sitting right next to me who is checking her caked on makeup. Honestly I bet she would be really pretty without all of that make up.... Lol nah I'm kidding she's would still be a hoe with a bad personality.

Ringggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg

"Hello class. My name is Mr. Styles and I'm going to be your English teacher this year."

All I could hear is blah blah Mr. Styles blah school blah. Too bad... he had a really cute accent.

I finally survived my first day of school. Yay. No one talked to me like always, I don't see why I had to go. Why couldn't be homeschooled just like some of the kids in my pack are? So anyways I'm walking to my special place right at the edge of the reservation ends. There's only 3 people who know of this place, me, myself and I.

I look out and see all the wild flowers that were scattered around the area. I hear a rustling sound in the bushes I was sitting right next to. All of the sudden two really cute guys come out talking. I guess they didn't notice me. i cough a little and the two guys' heads snap in my direction. "Um hi, I think you guys are lost. This is the Ericson land..." I say trailing off.

"Oh we're sorry. We were just trying to get to the other side of the boarder" said a guy with lightly tanned skin with brown eyes and brunette hair. For some odd reason I felt this connection with him. After the dudes walked away I ran back to the pack house and when straight to my room jumping on my bed. All I could think about was that one boy.... Why did he seem so special?
