Aria's point of view
Me and Charles have been dating for a while now, it's been pretty nice, with him walking me home everyday.
I was exiting the school to go meet up with Charles outside the Academy.
"Hey Aria! Oh, your hair has gotten longer..."
I blinked
"I guess it has, I suppose I am due for a visit to the hair salon..."
"I'll come with you!"
"Ah... You don't actually need to yknow..."
"I know, I want to though"
He put an arm around me and pulled me closer as we started walking.
"Uh... Okay..."
"You seem less than enthusiastic about it, could it be that you don't enjoy spending time with your boyfriend?"
He made a little pouty face.
"N-no! No that's not it I like spending time with you!"
"Then it's a date!"
What have I gotten myself into...
I spent at least an hour staring at my clothes, trying to convince myself this wasn't a date even though it was clearly stated that it was. I eventually came up with a baggy teal hoodie and a shorter pale yellow skirt with black leggings and a pair of purple and pink high tops.
I grabbed by purse and walked out. Noticing I was about 10 minutes late now and it would take another 10 to get thereI sighed.
I walked over to him when I got there.
"Your late, interesting choice for a first date."
I slouched just a bit as he said that
"Yeah... Sorry about that..."
I immediately stopped slouching when he wrapped an arm around me and we started walking.
"Ah, the hair salon's that way..."
"I know, we are gonna have some fun first. It is a date after all."
I couldn't help but smile.
After we grabbed a bite to eat, Charles pointed out the bowling alley.
"Let's go there next"
We walked inside to find Mikay and Logan sitting around about to start bowling, I didn't know either of them very well but Charles did and he waved to them.
Once the couple had noticed me and Charles, they waved back and invited us over, I couldn't help but notice Mikay was glaring at me but I dismissed it, I didn't really care what she thought of me.
We bowled for a while, and everyone was surprised with how good I was, but eventually Mikay pulled me off to the side so she could talk to me.
"Why is Charles dating you? Out of all the girls he could have, and he could have just about all of them, he choses you, the lame, unpopular outcast that is the new girl in town."
She sounded frusterated and what she said stung a little, but nothing I couldn't handle.
"I dunno, he's just chose to date me..."
I was a bit nervous about where this conversation was going to be going.
"Do you love him?"
She spoke swiftly and sharply to me.
"I guess..."
"You guess? Do you know how many girls would kill to be in your position and who would without a doubt give all of their heart to Charles and all you can do is guess?!"
She was starting to sound very, very angry.
"Why would Charles pick you over someone he's already had sex with, can you guess that?"
It hurt. Everything she was saying now hurt, my heart was aching.
We walked back and I did horrible on my turn and left, ignoring everything else.
Charles point of view
When I saw Aria leaving I immediately thought I had either done something wrong or Mikay said something to her that hurt her.
"Aria, wait!"
She didn't even hesitate or stop, she looked like she was about to cry and it was hurting me seeing her like this, so I turned to Mikay
"What did you say to her?"
She scoffed
"I simply told her the truth, Charles. Why don't you leave her be and hang out with me and Logan for the rest of the day?"
I growled at her and ran after Aria, I could hear Logan and Mikay calling for me but I ignored them. I had to see Aria. I had to figure out what was troubling her. I had to make her feel better...

First time I've actually left an author's note, but I just want to apologize for the cliff hanger, I'll either post a short chapter tonight or a longer one tomorrow.
Also fun fact, I have based this story off of a manga/anime I have read/watched. Free cookie to whoever can figure out which one!
