Chapter Four

Liam's P.O.V.

That was the hardest thing I've had to do. Jess was something, she meant a lot to me. And this other girl Emma, she won't even last a month. To think I just killed Jess for Emma breaks my heart.

"King Payne, we have Emma's room ready. Are you ready for her." The guard that guarded Jess's.. I mean Emma's room asked me.

I wasn't ready for Emma to move into Jess's room yet. I mean I know every girl that is going to be princess has to stay in there, but I wasn't ready to give up on Jess yet.

"Uh Emma can spend a couple nights in shoe." I assured the guard.

"Are you sure sir?" I guard asked.

"Ya, I just let Jess go and she was a good one, I'm not quite sure I'm ready for Emma quite yet." I said to the guard.

"Well your damn right. Jess was an angel compared to this new one you got. I saw her in the entrance hall. Yikes." He said.

"Yea she has some things coming for her though." I smiled.

"Well I'll leave you to it. I'll tell them where Emma needs to be. Good day sir." He said.

"Thanks."

Emma's P.O.V.

I've been sitting in this hallway for over and hour now. The guards not letting me move. The ground is starting to get uncomfortable, and I'm just wondering where there going to put me next.

Just then a gaurd came around the corner, and asked for me to be put in shoe.

"Shoe? Are you sure you have the right girl?" The guard in front of me asks the other guard.

"Yes, King Payne's order." He said while walking away.

"Alrigthy then, let's go." Said the gaurd.

"Where are we going? What's shoe?" I asked while being pulled up by both gaurds.

The gaurds didn't answer either of my questions.

I've asked about shoe now about four times, and no one will answer me. Is it that bad? Or do they not know what it is? All I knew was that Annie was down there as well.

While I was being dragged through hallway after hallway I see a king. He was one of the kings I knew, because I saw him earlier, but I couldn't remember his name. Black hair? Tall? Ahhh.. so I just yell out a name.

"Niall! King Niall!" I shout towards the king.

He turns around so I'm assuming that I got is name right. He point to himself and I nodded.

"It's Zayn, King Malik darling." He laughed while walking towards me.

"I'm sorry, but could you please tell me what shoe is?" I asked trying to scramble out of the gaurds grip.

"Why do you want to know so bad? Didn't you ask that before?" He smiled at me.

"Yes I'm Emma, I was talking to you kings today. My friend Annie is down there, and now there sending me down there as well! And no one will tell me what or where that is."I said panicked.

"Noo gaurds you have this wrong, see this is Emma King Payne's new princess, um you should probably take her to her room." Zayn told the gaurds.

"Sorry King Malik, but we had orders from King Payne to send her down there." The gaurds told Zayn.

"Are you sure you have the right girl?" Zayn asked once more.

Zayn made it sound like I wasn't supposed to be down there. And why was I Liam's princess? Is that what every girl is? And if I'm supposed to be going to 'my room' then why is Liam sending me to shoe?
