The goodbyes and the road

The next day, Morgan came over And helped me pack, it was actually kind of upsetting, having to leave my best friend since i was three. I thought about how lost i would Be without her in West Chester. We Did promise that we would text And all that stuff all the time to stay close Friends. The thought of having to break up With Roman was haunting me the most, what if he comes after me? was the thought running through my head the most. "He wont, Ill Be right next to you when you tell him." Morgan said. I gave a faint smile And Picked up my phone And dialed Romans number.

*phone call between me And Roman

R: Hello?
M: Hey we need to talk.
R: If its about last night, I'm sorry, i just cant stand to see you dressed like that.
Me: It doesnt matter anymore, I'm moving And breaking up With you.
R: WHAT?! Moving Where! Why? I love you!
Me: Yeah right, And because I'm tired of the abuse Roman, I know you say youll try not to hurt me again, but you always fucking do it again. And becaus of you, ITS DEAD MIDDLE OF SUMMER AND I CANT WEAR TANK TOPS, CROP TOPS OR HIGH WASTED SHORTS BC OF ALL THE BRUISES YOU GAVE ME.
R: Alright, whatever. Fuck you bitch.
He hung up.

I looked at Morg smiling, it felt so good to yell at him like that And not getting fucked up for it. My dad didnt want me to fly by myself so he agreed to drive me down in my jeep to Philly And a friend from work would follow us down And can take my dad home. We lived in Geneva, Ohio, a beautiful place that i was going to miss... but i feel west Chester would Be good for me. I finished packing And starting loading stuff into my jeep And Some small stuff into my dads Friends truck. I said goodbye to morgan, And we were off to Philly. Looking out my Window passing te beautiful lake, i couldnt help but cry a bit, just thinking about how much i was going to Miss this place. Not even a second later i got a text from Chad.

Chad: I cant wait to see you!
I just looked at the text And smiled. I plugged my headphones into my phone And has HIM And Blink 182 on repeat until we stopped to eat somewhere. We left Ohio around 11 on a friday And it was about 2 when we stopped to eat. After we ate we were back on the road again. Finally after 5 hours of driving we hit Philly And my dad Pulled into the gas station, he looked at me And asked if i was okay doing this alone. I nodded, grabbed Some of the shit from in his Friends truck And put it in my Jeep. Then i wrapped my arms around my dads neck And told him i love him, And id call him when i got to Chad's. I watched them pull away And i hooked up the GPS And was on my way.
