Chapter 1

-Adelynn's POV-

I woke with a start by my little brother jumping on my bed screaming.

"Addy! Addy! Wake up!!!! Father told me to get you and run!" My eyes widened as he finished, I ran to my closet and packed a small bag of clothes for me and my little brother. I threw on my pair of black high tops and took my brothers hand.My father was the Alpha of the Bloodmoon pack and he would do anything to keep his pack safe.

"Adrian, I'm going to shift, Hold onto my fur and don't let go okay?" I saw him nod out of the corner of my eye and I shifted into my wolf. My wolf was rare but common in my family, they all had some type of red blot on their fur but my wolf was all red my father had told me I was a special girl, blessed by he moon goddess, he would say.

I took off into the woods with Adrian holding onto my fur, I had probably gotten about half a mile away from the pack house before I heard footsteps (Paws) following me. I twisted and turned to get them off of my scent and it worked....for a minute or two. A wolf was gaining on me, and started to nip at my ankles. I turned around and that's when it hit me.

That scent.

The scent of a killer. I quickly looked at the ground and made sure to not make eye contact. I could feel his gaze on my wolf. I could feel Adrian move on my back and then I hear a thump. He probably fell to the ground. I nuzzled him with my snout and he hugged my wolf's head. He lets go and looks at the man infront of me and says "Hi! I'm Adrian, this is my sister Adelynn." I just wanted to die right then and there. My little brother, My little brother was talking to a killer.

"I'm Dustin. Alpha of CrescentMoon Pack." His husky voice made me have an urge to kiss him, but Dustin was the Alpha of the biggest pack in the U.S. "Mon Amour raise your head." (Mon Amour means My Love just a fyi) I kept my eyes glued to the floor If I looked at him then it would be real.

'Adrian Get on my back now' I told him through mindlink.

'Yes ma'm' He said as he climbed on my back. As soon as he was on and was holding on tight I took off at my full speed trying to get away from the Killer (Dustin). "You can't run forever Mon Amour!" He yelled after me I sure as hell knew that but I was going to at least try before that monster would catch me and Adrian.
