-Dustin's POV-
My beta, Cy, is Skylark's Mate? I would have never guessed.
'Cy.' I mind linked.
'Yea, Dustin?'
'Treat your Amour nicely.'
'I was going to, but why?'
'Your mate is your Luna's Best friend.' and I ended the link.
-Adelynn's POV-
Not more than a few minutes had passed, when Adrian comes running into the room.
"Addy!" He screams.
"What is it?!" I frantically ask trying to get out of Dustin's death grip.
"There's a monster in my room!"
"Come on bud. Let's go beat it up together!" Dustin says as he gets up and follows Adrian. I sigh and get comfortable with Sky on the couch.
Halfway through the movie I feel myself start to drift off to sleep.
-Dustin's POV-
After I helped Adrian with the 'monster' I came back into the living room to find Adelynn asleep on the couch. I turn everything off and pick her up bridal style, and carry her to our room. I lay her down on the bed and wrap her up in the blankets. I strip down to my boxers and climb into the bed with her. I pull her to my chest and kiss her forehead.
"Goodnight, Mon Amour." I whisper and let sleep take over me.
-Adelynn's POV-
I wake up to find Dustin's arm wrapped around my waist. I struggle to get out of his death grip but I end up losing. I sigh and snuggle into his chest.
After a while Dustin shifts in the bed, I go to look up at him and find him looking at me with a smile on his handsome features.
"Good morning, Mon Amour." His husky voice makes shivers run down my spine.
"G-Good m-morning, D-Dustin." I stutter and mentally slap myself. He lets out a hearty chuckle and gets up.
"I've got a meeting in a hour. Want to come?"
"Sure!" I get up and walk to the closet to get dressed. Once I'm done with that I put my hair up into a messy bun and walk into the kitchen.
Once I was in the kitchen I started making Coffee. Just as I was finishing up pouring Dustin's cup of coffee, a pair of muscular arms wrap around my waist. I spin around in his grip and look up at him.
"h-How do you l-like your c-coffee, D-Dustin?" I stutter.
Cliff Hanger! I know, I'm a jerk. But if you want another chapter..... Vote! xD
