Asa's Point Of View:
My name is Asa, I'm 82 years old and I'm from London. When I was young I was an actor in movies and I was in love. I did many movies and always had a crush during them, but one girl stood out from all the rest. She made me forget all other crushes. This particular European American girl was also the one girl that changed my life forever. She really was the very image of beauty. She gave me something that no one else could: a son named Conner Ryan Butterfield. Now I live in a retirement home alone although I do have friends. Some of them no longer talk to me, but Conner still comes to visit me. He does whatever I ask him to do. He has bathed me, helped me get dressed, page a nurse, and even sponge me down. One day Conner came to visit with my grandson, Bruno. "Grandpa!" Bruno yelled with a large smile creeping over his face. "Bruno! Conner! It's so good to see you both!" I said, particularly pleased that they came today. "What do you want to do?" I asked Bruno. "Grandpa, can you tell me a story about when you met Grandma and then had Dad?" asked Bruno, his excitement gleaming through his eyes. "Well, alright."
