Chapter 8- Trying the Jobs

Newt P.o.V
I woke up slowly remembering what I had to do today and dreading already

Seeing you-know-who.

I had to take her and her friend on a tour to tell them where to go and all that crap.

I honestly didn't feel like talking to either of them. But my jobs my job. I didn't sit up I just rolled out of bed. With a bang when I fell tangled in a blanket. I lay there for a while until I heard a knock on the door.

"Who is it?"

I heard whispering and then someone spoke up.

"Um it's Fae and Sienna." I knew by her cold voice it was Fae.

"Why are you two at my door?"

"We were looking for you and Minho told us you'll be in here." Fae said once again.

"Fine just give me a minute." I said trying to get out of my comfy blanket I didn't want to leave ...... ever. But I did and got dressed. I opened my door and walked down the hall and out the Keepers rooms area only to see someone I haven't seen in a few days.

"Hi." Fae said.

Sienna stayed silent.

I cleared my throat.

"Hello, I'll taking you to each Keeper and they will test you on each job to see which one suites you best. There are a lot of jobs so this might take a while. Any questions?"

Then Fae started asking me a bunch of stupid questions, and I gave her stupid answers. Ask a stupid question get a stupid answer.

"Ok your first job is with Winston the keeper of the blood house."

Sienna P.o.V
I woke up already dreading what's gonna happen today.

Seeing you-know-who.

Me and Fae have to go try out jobs today, even though I came after her, Alby said it would be easier if we did it at the same time.

I honestly didn't feel like talking to him today, never mind seeing him. But I have to get a job. I'm not a lazy old cow. I was so tired though. I just rolled out of bed and got dressed. I met up with Fae and we went looking around for Newt. But he wasn't anywhere. Minho saw us wandering around and called us over and told us to go to his room. We went back to the Keepers Rooms and heard a bump come from Newts room, we headed over to his room and Fae knocked, she knew I didn't want anything to do with him.

"Who is it." I jumped a tiny bit when he spoke, his voice, I missed it and at the same time I'd rather listen to a dying rat and a screaming Griever, that'll get me to sleep.

"Hey Sienna are you alive?" Fae whispered.

Is mapped out of my daydream, "Yeah are you gonna answer him?" I whispered back.

She sighed, "Um Fae and Sienna." She said looking at me.

"Why are you two at my door?" He moaned, I really wanna punch him right now.

"We were looking for you and Minho told us you'll be in here." Fae said.

"Fine just give me a minute." He said and we walked out the keepers rooms hall thingy and waited outside. After about two minutes I saw someone that I haven't seen in a while.

"Hi." Fae waved.

I didn't speak, what's the point.

"Hello, I'll taking you to each Keeper and they will test you on each job to see which one suites you best. There are a lot of jobs so this might take a while. Any questions?"

Then Fae started asking me a bunch of stupid questions, and he gave her stupid answers. Ask a stupid question get a stupid answer.

"Ok your first job is with Winston the keeper of the blood house." He said opening a door and I just looked around, it smelled like raw meet and something that stunk and I can't even explain it.

The door closed behind me and we both looked back noticing Newt had left. We didn't know where to go so we just stood there until someone spoke.

"Use are the newbies right?"

~Dinner Time~

We finished all the jobs in time for dinner and I needed rest and food.

"One more question." Fae said before Newt had left.

"What is it."

"When are we trying out to be a runner?"

"Well you only do it if you want go tell Minho." Then he left.

"Well let's go tell Minho." Fae started heading to frypans since it's dinner and Minho has dinner like a normal person. We got there in about a minute due to how fast me and Fae walk and we immediately saw Minho sitting at the table near the other side of the room. We walked over to the table.

"Hey Sienna hey Fae." Minho said cheerfully.

"Hey Minho." Fae said cheerfully.

"Hi." I said expressionlessly, I was too tired to talk with emotions or even talk at all.

"We were wondering since we've just tried out a bunch of jobs if you can test us to be runners?"

"Yeah sure meet us here tomorrow at around seven and we'll test you."

"Ok thanks bye."

I walked out because my head was so heavy I had to get sleep before I pass out. So I quickened up my pace and got in my bed in no time.

Hello everyone I'm back with another chapter of They Know and I hope you enjoyed.
Sorry this chapter was so short. I was really bored while writing this, I'm excited to write the rest of the next one though, it'll be longer.
I seriously have nothing to say so I guess that's a goodbye.
