Chapter 3

-Carleigh's POV-

As soon as I was about to leave I got turned around by Hayes and by surprise he kissed me. I felt sparks, i know that may sound cheesy but its true. As soon as we pulled away Hayes leaned his head on mine and smiled. "Sorry I couldn't wait any longer for that" he said, I just smiled. "Bye Hayes I will text you when I get home. he nods as a response to what I said. 

As I was walking home my phone started to buzz I noticed I have 10 text messages, 7 are from my best friend Ashley, 2 were from my mom and the next 1 was from my dad... I haven't talked to my dad in several months because he has been gone at war. I opened the one from my dad first (D:Dad C:Carleigh)

D: Hey beautiful im really sorry I haven't been home in a while, I love you and can't wait to see you!

C: Hey daddy, I miss you and can't wait to see you again! I love you more! <3

-end of conversation-

next I read the texts from my mom (M:Mom C:Carleigh)

M:Hey sweetie I know your @ the carnival with Hayes so when you see this come home I have a surprise for you!

M: Sweetie I need to know when your going to be home because this surprise can't wait any longer!

I texted my mom back saying 

C: Im on my way home now mom! But anyways why are you in such a hurry because I just started walking home and its like a 10 minute walk.

M: I will show you when you get home!

Then I decided to open up the messages from my friend Ashley (A:Ashley C:Carleigh)

A: WTH YOU DIDNT TELL ME YOU AND HAYES ARE A THING!!!

A:ANSWER ME!

A: CARLEIGHHHHHHHHH ANSWER ME!!!

A:WTH

A: Oh wait your on a date with Hayes text me and tell me the details when you read this!

C: Okay thanks for blowing up my phone I love you too, and the date was pretty great I might say, also we have a thing but we aren't dating but I hope that will change soon.

A: WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED????!!!!!

C: Let's just say Hayes and I got really close and we kinda kissed :)

A: WHAT THE FUCK CARLY OMG CONGRATS!!!

C: Thank you but I gtg because my mom has a surprise for me and I'm almost home. 

A: K ttyl! 

-End of conversation- 

As I was walking I noticed that I was literally around the corner of my house and I saw Hayes walking on the other side of the street so I thought it would be a great opportunity to scare the shit out of him, so I sat there for a second so that he was ahead of me but not far. I crossed the street and he didn't notice. I don't know how he didn't because I was walking like a giant! But I started to run and I jumped on his back.

-Hayes POV- 

I heard someone or something running I just thought there were little kids playing around so I decided not to turn around, but then I noticed that the running was coming closer to me but before I could turn around there was someone on my back. I started to panic and I ripped them off my back and threw them into the concrete. But when I noticed that it was Carleigh I started to freak out, "OH MY GOD CARLEIGH ARE YOU OKAY?!" she nodded and laughed. "That was not funny I could've really hurt you" as i said when I was helping her up. "Yeah but you didn't so its okay" she said smiling. I hugged her and we both pulled away just enough so that i could lean in and kiss her. As soon as our lips connected I felt sparks like I did the first time. But then I decided I wanted to deepen the kiss and I asked for entrance and thank god she granted it.

-Carleigh's POV- 

He asked for entrance so I granted it, as we were having out little make out session I felt my phone vibrate, so I pulled away from Hayes smiling and he just stood there as i answered my phone

-Conversation-

M: Honey I need you home its getting dark out and I am getting worried so please hurry!

C: Mom im okay I am literally around the corner, and I am standing here with Hayes so no need to worry

M: Okay well please hurry home your surprise is still waiting, and bring Hayes over for dinner if his family doesn't mind!

C: Okay bye love you mom!

M: Love you too!

-End of conversation-

"Hayes?"

"Yes babe?" I was think about how he has never called me babe before but I just brushed it off.

"You wanna come have dinner with my family and I?"

"I would love to"

We just started to walk and Hayes broke the silence by saying " I know we haven't known each other that long but I really like you, you make me happy, whenever you smile you make me smile. You are just perfect, I know some people think different but I don't because I know you are perfect. Will you please do me the honor of being my girlfriend?"

I just sat there for a second think wow this kid can't get any better he is literally perfect, he is the sweetest guy I ever met. No guy has ever said that to me, "Yes Hayes I will be your girlfriend!"

He picked me up and swung me around in a circle and kissed me, not like any other kiss this one was so passionate and perfect. 

As we walked up the stairs into my house I noticed this man standing in my drive way, as i walked closer it was.....

Sorry but I had to leave you with a cliffhanger because my mom is being a jerk and making me get off my laptop to help her cook dinner. But thank you guys for reading! I am sorry if my writing is horrible this is my first FanFic I have written. But I hope you guys will enjoy the rest of this book.
