I hate Common Core, get out of this place.
They had to make this unfortunate change.
All the old school ways died without a trace.
Quarterly assessments the schools arrange.
Why cannot they really just disappear.
Forty-five states've already shed a tear.
Five left, but how long 'fore there's only one.
Schools, they started this, on them we depend.
Common Core: A touch, not a gentle touch.
It's like that friend who never was your friend.
What's More? It brings my math grade down so much.By this curriculum the U.S. is bound.
A working school system we have not found.
