Prologue
"Crack!"
My back collides with the hard rusted metal of my locker, a harsh stabbing pain climbs up my spine making me cry out. My cries of pain just make him and his friends laugh harder. It was him and two other figures that I couldn't make out. They looked around his height but a little thinner. His hand is wrapped around my throat, lifting me higher and higher into the air, my feet can no longer touch the ground. With every minute that passes his grip around my throat gets tighter and tighter, I can feel my face turning a bright red almost purple color, I had to get out of this situation and fast.
I lift my hands from my side and grab his hand trying to somehow release his grip. His hand was sweating and had hair all over the thick knuckles, I try clawing at his hand to somehow get my fingers in between his hand and my throat.
It was impossible, each time I thought my fingers had squeezed their way in between, my fingers would slip off his hand every time. If I don't get out of this situation now I'm going to die!
"Jimmy let me go!" I yell out since his grip hadn't loosened at all even though it was obvious I was struggling.
I knew he wouldn't let go so I yelled not for him but for someone else to hear.
"No way nerd!" He yelled as spit flew out of his mouth and smacked onto my left cheek. As it fell it led a trail down my cheek.
His breath was awful it smelled of stale beer and ranch Doritos, it was obvious he was drunk, again. The clothes he was wearing didn't smell or look any better, his red v-neck shirt had stains all over it and his Levi's jeans had to many holes to count, he smelled like he hadn't bathed in days, his curly dark brown hair was ruffled as if he had just gotten out of bed.
The dark figures behind him now stepped closer into view as they did I knew exactly who they were, it was Anthony and Miguel, Jimmy's two lackeys who followed him around everywhere. They began screaming words at me, their words ran together, I couldn't understand what they were saying. But knowing them it wasn't the most positive and uplifting things. So maybe it was best I didn't hear. Their faces were distorted and angry, their skin was dangerously bright red.
My body couldn't take it anymore, their screaming and his grip was too much my eyelids begin to become too heavy as I quickly lose my ability to breath.
The last thing I remember hearing is someone frantically yelling "Luna! Luna! Oh my God are you ok!?" before I black out.
