Hello everyone it's been a while, I know. Since I got a new phone a couple weeks ago I decided to redownload Wattpad. As you can see I did. My old phone broke in half and couldn't support the Wattpad application anymore so I couldn't get on Wattpad anyways. But meh I'm back and ready to write, let's do this. C:

Chapter 4

Before long we make to the legal form of child labor and prison torture which is known as school, or Shinewell High School in our case. We pull into the parking lot in front of the school and park in the closest spot near the entrance of the school. The parking lot is surrounded by thin black metal bars that form a fence. The paint on the bars has chipped off due to rain causing it to rust. If you look closely at one of the spots missing paint you can see the rusted metal that used to be covered from the world. The parking lot itself is quite ordinary, with black assault and white lines designating parking spots. We drive around a little until we find a parking space right next to the front entrance of the school. I make Vicky always park near the front so that way we can make a clean get way if ever needed. Hey, I've seen the news, people shoot up schools all the time, wether it be a student or an insane twenty-five year old. Either way, I know my exits and where the car is located, so I'm prepared.

Vicky and I get out of the car and in the corner of the parking lot to our left we see a couple making out....no scratch that, dry humping with each with their clothes on. Ugh, high school is so disgusting. Vicky keeps walking while I keep standing with my eyes wide and mouth open at the couple. I can't see either of their faces with them being glued together, they haven't broke their make-out session to take a breath of fresh air yet.

Even though it's disgusting to see public displays of affection (pda), it's hard to look away. I say this in a non-creepy way, it's just really shocking to see people attacking each other in public. This happens all the time and I just turn to stone, petrified. Several people have spread rumors about how I react to Pda, mostly all of them being about how I stare at people because I'm lonely and it turns me on. People are so gross. About half of Shinewell doesn't talk to me because of the rumors, either that or they just don't know me. It's amazing what a few words can do.

Vicky grips my shoulder hard, shakes it and quickly brings me back to reality. I shake my head and blink a couple a times, realizing where I am again.

"And this why those rumors seem to be true to everyone else." Vicky says as she places both hands on my back and pushes me up the cement steps of our school.

"Ugh, don't remind me of those. I can't help it. It's just too much for my brain to handle at one time. It just shuts off in shock." I say as I tilt my eyes to the ground and sigh. Rumors like these are nothing new, ever since middle school people have made rumors about me. Why? I don't know people just like to feel like they have power and I guess I was the perfect victim. Quite, nice, and a nobody.

"Ok weirdo. I'm not one to judge, if you get turned on by others Pda's, so be it. That's all you." Vicky says as she surpresses a giggle forming from her slight sarcasm or what she calls a joke.

"I don't!" I yell as my eyebrows bend into a 'V' shape and my eyes squint at her "I thought you were my friend."

"I am. I am. Calm down. I was only playing around miss grumpy pants." Vicky says as a smile creeps across her face and her eyes close as she releases her built up laugh.

I shake my head and keep walking. "Come on we are uber late for class now. You think we can sneak past the security guard in the main hall?" I ask as I place my hand on the cold handle of one of the entrance doors and pull it open.

"If we play our cards right, sure. Let's just hope she's on a restroom break." Vicky says as her forehead crinkles at the thought of making it past our school security guard.

Even though we live in a good neighborhood we still need to have at least one security guard at the front entrance at all times, says the manor after one of the schools got held hostage by a drunk guy a couple years back. It's just in case someone comes into the building who's not supposed to be here, like the drunk.

Vicky passes through the metal doors first cause she's lighter on her feet and she's done this more times than me. Her feet almost glide across the floor as she tip-toes across the newly polished fake ceramic tile. The entry way is a square room that has our school logo and mascot in the middle of it. It reads 'Shinewell Snakes' with our moto underneath it, 'trust, honor, integrity, three words to have and to know'. You can see how ironic that can be when our mascot is a snake. Which is usually known for deceit and overall misfortune, but hey it wasn't my idea.

Just a few feet away from the logo sits the security guard's huge wooden desk to the right. The chair behind the desk is empty but an untouched glazed donut and a warm cup of coffee lie on the corner of the old desk, showing that she'll be back soon.

"All clear!" Vicky whispers from the side of the security guard's desk. She is crouched down just enough next to the desk, that if someone was sitting at the desk they couldn't see her but she could see them.

"Thanks Katherine obvious." I say as I release all stress from my face muscles and look at her with a straight face. "I didn't know we were in a James Bond movie."

She looks at me with the an unamused face, lacking any smile whatsoever, but I know she's not mad because....well I just know. Vicky is not the type of person to get mad easily. But when she's mad.....you don't even want to know.

Vicky reaches her hand up to the side of the desk and grabs the donut, wrapper and all, and stuffs it into her purse for later.

"Vicky what the hell!? Put that back we don't want her to know we were here!" I yell whisper as my eyes widen at Vicky's stomach winning over her intelligence right now.

"Calm down, Luna. She can't possibly know it was us."

"You mean you and of course she can. She is more likely to notice us if we take her donut rather than just slip by. If she finds her donut missing she will look on the surveillance videos for the day and find that we were late to school and stole her donut."

Vicky starts to sweat and her eyes look worried as she looks down at the floor beneath her. She quickly grabs the donut back out of her purse and places it back onto the desk the way it was before.

"You're right!" She yells in a whisper as she starts to run to the main hallway lined with green baby barf lockers and to her first period. I follow right behind her and let out a deep breath and close my eyes slowly then reopen them when I inhale. That was definitely close.
