Bria
My sister thinks she's brilliant and the world is centred on her. She's vain and like a Barbie doll.
We both woke up early and went downstairs. Not one word was spoken to each other and we both sat at opposite ends of the kitchen eating our breakfasts. That was always how it was with us, we didn't speak to each other if we could help it, and if we did then there were always harsh insults thrown around. Mum cheerily ushered us into the car and drove us to the meeting point. She bid us both goodbye and told us to behave. I saw Madison run straight to her best friend Annalee, I was so upset none of my friends were coming.
"HEY!"
I turned round and saw a girl come up and give me a hug.
"I'm Jasmine, Jasmine Bailey but you can call me Jaz!" she said cheerily. "Is that Barbie doll over there your sibling?"
I laughed at her choice of words for Madison, honestly I knew that we were going to be good friends.
"Bria, Bria Fisher. That is my twin sister Madison, a model and very vain," I replied.
Jaz scowled at her and then turned back to me. She dragged me straight onto the coach and to the middle where a group of other people were.
"Guys! Meet Bria!" announced Jaz.
I was met with a chorus of hello's and I grinned at them all.
"Joel, Reece, Adelynn and Carlee," said Carlee gesturing to everyone. "You've got a really cool shirt on!"
I said my thanks and then I heard a screechy voice behind me. Instantly I knew I was Madison.
"Move out of my way, cow!" she spat. "Go sit in the front where you belong!"
"Hey!" interrupted Joel angrily. "Don't talk to our friend like that! I don't know who you are but leave Bria alone!"
Madison looked momentarily surprised but then just winked at Joel.
"Hey boy, looking fine," she said grinning. "But that's my twin there, come with us! You don't wanna associate with that thing!"
"That's your twin? Then treat her with more respect! Bria is nice!" answered Joel with even more venom in his voice. "I don't associate myself with Barbie dolls anyway."
Madison looked shocked and then glared at Joel.
"You're making a mistake," spat Madison. "You won't like her but don't come running to me when you're fed up with her!"
She stormed off and I glanced at Joel who shook his head.
"You seriously have a bratty sister," he commented.
"Thanks Joel," I muttered.
"It's what friends are for," cut in Reece. "Your sister is an idiot and you don't deserve to be treated like that."
The others made sounds of agreement and I grinned widely at them. The feeling of having really good friends was amazing!
"What is her name?" asked Adelynn. "Call me Ade by the way."
"Madison," I answered. "Bri is fine with me, doesn't make much of a difference from Bria!"
We all laughed and joked on the long trip to London. It is quite a long trip to London from Nottingham! Most of the talk about was about Barbie Dolls (aka Madison and co) and it felt so good to just freely talk about them. Reece made the worst comments about them which made us all laugh so hard.
"Reece you are hilarious!" I gasped between breaths of laughter.
"I try," he answered and winked which sent us all into fits of laughter.
