Bluewarbler walked out of the briefing room, all necessary information stored in his active memory.  He put his eye up to a nearby scanner, which accepted his retinal scan and allowed him access to the teleport pad.  He walked through, and came out into the armory to receive his loadout.  He pressed a nearby panel and entered his security code.  Immediately, a pre-recorded message came up in Commander Jordan's voice.

"Soldier.  I have designated  several useful gadgets for use in your mission.  I have given the information in the text below the recording on the security panel."

Upon checking said text, it listed the gadgets for his use.

Cranial Scanner, connected to your brain chip (for use in assuming identities, personalities, and memories)

DXR-6 Disruptor Pistol (Rips apart flesh at the molecular level, for use in assassinations wherein the body must never be found)

Standard-Issue Blackstar Plasma Blade (If you need it)

Holographic "Dead Ringer"  Fake Body (for discarding your current identity)

Squid Army Standard-issue Knife (for when the body must be found)

After reading this list, Bluewarbler activated a nearby probe.  "Sergeant Bluewarbler of Blackstar Squad, requesting equipment requisitions for current mission," he said to the probe.  He watched the probe gather the required equipment,  while marveling at the sheer number and variety of the weapons mounted on he walls- from small dart pistols, to V35 Mangler plasma breach cannons, to his preferred assault weapon, the XR73 Rail Blaster.  He had to be reminded that his gear was ready by a tap on the shoulder from the probe.  He thanked the droid and headed to the teleport pad. "Requesting permission for surface transport," he said.

"Request granted. Have a good mission," replied the pad hub operator.

The familiar sensation of teleportation enveloped him as he traveled to the surface.
