Chapter seven:That big of a mouth

The next day I wake up feeling accomplished. I made it through my first day sharing a house with Alex and Jason.

I walk downstairs after dressing in denim cutoffs and a plaid shirt which I tied up and be a bowl of cereal. When I'm putting my bowl in the sink Alex comes down the stairs. He reaches for one of my poptarts and I slap his hand away.

"Those are mine," I say sternly.

He glares at me and grabs an apple. He takes a huge bite and I raise an eyebrow at him.

"What?" He asks.

"Just didn't think you had that big of a mouth," I say.

"Its quite useful at times," He says, winking.

" Eww, gross,"I say cringing.

Jason comes down the stairs, shirtless, and I try not to stare at his magnificent six pack.

"Dude put a shirt on," Alex says.

"Do you have a problem with this, Cameron?" Asks Jason.

I look at him and blush.

"See? She's fine with it," Says Jason.

You don't know how fine, I think.

He then grabs a poptart and takes a huge bite.

"What is it with you two?" I ask loudly.

"What?" Asks Jason.

"What's with the huge bites of everything? Your mouths must be humongous!" I exclaim.

"I showed you just how big my mouth is compared to yours yesterday, or must I remind you?" Asks Jason, leaning closer to me.

I push him away and blush, then look over at Alex, who looks furious.

He walks up the stairs. And I follow him, then head to my room.
...............................

After a few hours Alex comes to my room.

"Do you want to go get something to eat?" He asks.

"Sure," I say.

We get outside and I look at his motorcycle.

"I am not riding on your death machine," I say, crossing my arms.

"Which one?" He asks raising his eyebrows suggestively.

"Both of them," I say.

"Wait you want to ride both?" He says, looking surprised.

"No, I don't want to ride either of them, especially the one you are thinking of!" I exclaim.

"Then, I guess we're walking," He says.

Then he grabs me, puts the helmet on me and lifts me onto his motorcycle, then drives.

I glare at his back and hold him as tightly I can.

When we get to the café I get off and punch Alex as hard as I can in the back.

"Shit!" I hear him say.

I glare at him the whole time we eat.

Alex's POV

When we are finished eating I bring her to the store.

She looks at me funny when I buy a can of spray paint.

When we get to school she starts asking questions.

"What are we doing?" She asks.

"Art," I answer.

"Not anything illegal, right?" She asks.

"Not at all," I say. It totally is illegal.

"Okay," She's says.

I bring her to the place me and my buddies used to skip class at where there are tons of masterpieces.

I hand her the can and say,"go ahed."

"What do I put?" She asks.

"Anything," I say.

She considers it, then puts a big fancy C.

I smile at her creativity and put an A next to it.

She begins a circle around them, but I guide her hand to make a sloppy heart.

She smiles at me and I lean down and capture her soft pink lips with mine. At first she freezes and I'm afraid she'll push me away, but after that she kisses me back, looping her fingers through my hair. I grab her hips and pull her closer. She responds by kissing hungrily down my neck and sucking on the spot between my shoulder and neck. I groan, sure she'll leave a hickey.

I guide her lips back to mine and leave a soft kiss on them before pulling back.

"We should get back home," I tell her.

"Shit!" She exclaims.

I climb onto my motorcycle, which she calls the death machine, and we go home.
......................................

When we get inside we have to face Jason.

"Where have you guys been?" He asks, and I can see the guilt on Cameron's face.

"We went to eat," I tell him.

Jason is starting to look angry.

"You should go upstairs," I say quietly to Cameron.

She nods and starts making her way up the stairs.

"Stay away from her," Jason tells me.

"You have known her for what, three days and you're telling her best friend for two years that?" I ask him.

"Exactly, you had the chance before, why didn't you take it?" He asks.

"She had a boyfriend, and the perfect life. Why would she want someone like me? The boy who was only known for being the guy who went through girls like it was nothing and for getting into trouble," By now we are practically yelling at each other.

"Fine. Let's make a deal. Whoever she tells she loves first wins. If you win I back off, and vice versa," Jason says calmly.

"I won't make a bet on the girl I've loved but always been second best with for two years," I say.

"Its not a bet, its an agreement," says Jason.

"Fine," I say, knowing I am making a terrible mistake.

Cameron's POV

After Alex tells me to go up to my room I can hear yelling.

I only hear bits and pieces, but it sounds like they are fighting over me. This is all my fault, without me they would still be like best friends. I could have picked one before I saw the good in both of them and now I can't let go of either of them because they are so amazingly beautiful both inside and out.

I don't deserve either of them and they deserve someone much better than me. I can't keep this up, eventually I'll have to choose. But do I choose the boy I've known forever and trusted or the one I've only just met?

Author's Note:I'm back from camping, along with my sucky grammar.
