90 Days of Love

Last day: part 2

As soon as she parked in front of Bay High school I opened the car door and walked out, behind me Jessica came running "hey wait for me!". I looked at her "wait did we have homework last night!!?" "We had math worksheets pages 130-134 and I didn't forget :)" she said proudly. "ugh how could I forget! Today is my last day here!" I looked at the ground, wet and slippery from last night's rain. "I'm going to miss you, please always call me just to keep up!" She said as she walked into Mrs.bets classroom, which is right across mine. "Good morning students! I will be checking homework right now, meanwhile please read pages 45-50 quietly!" Why is Mr.Tyler always cranky, I swear it's like he never sleeps. I started drifting into my thoughts when I hear someone calling my name, "Amber! Amber! Earth to Amber!!" "W-what?" I looked up it was Mr.Tyler, "Where's your homework?!" He was giving me a death stare. "I um, you see I... Forgot it .. At home!!sorry?" Mr.Tyler didn't even blink and kept walking. I'm going to miss my friend but definitely not Mr.Tyler, time flew by so fast it was already lunch. I met Jessica at our favorite spot which was right outside the school in the nice shade. "Hey Jess what happened in class today?" I said smiling " oh nothing much, except the fact that Cicilia tripped and landed on the world map which ripped completely in half" we both started laughing, hoping no one noticed how ridiculous we looked. As son as lunch was over we went to class and I almost feel asleep until the bell rang, time to go home. Jessica and I hopped into the car and started talking about all the memories we had together, I felt for leaving like this but what can I do? She dropped me off and I gave her a tight hug promising to call or text her everyday. As soon as she left I went inside to finish packing. "Mom I'm home!" I threw my backpack in the living room, well at least what used to be a living room and ran upstairs. "Hey sweetie are you almost done packing?" "Just need one more box" I looked at her, she was already and happy to move, she couldn't wait to get out of here I wish I could say the same. The moving truck came *honk honk* "Amber! Get moving! We already loaded every box expect yours!" "Coming!" I said as I tried walking down stairs with two boxes by my side. This where it all begins, a new house, a new school, new friends, a new life. I hope it all ends well.
