•Josh's POV•
"Hey," Max says with his words slurred. "Why don't we...have a...motorcycle race?" He says with a drunken grin and dizzy eyes.

"Yeah, yeah let's...lets do that." I say holding my beer up in the air in agreement.

"What about us?" Kaylin twirls my face to hers to look in my eyes.

"Yeah, what she...said." Margo drops her head onto Max's shoulder as she finishes the sentence.

"You two lady's...can ride on the back. We...will get other people...to ride." I stand up to get my other friends who rode on their motorcycles to here. They agree and sooner or later we get prepared.

"It's wet outside. Why?" Margo crosses her arms and stomps a foot. Max pecks a kiss on her cheek and tells her 'she takes showers anyways. Think about it like that.'

"Well, I like how it's raining on the shiny road. It's pretty." Kaylin rocks her self side to side softly with her eyes closed imagining something.

"What are you thinking about?" I ask Kaylin with a grin reaching to the corners of my eyes.

"Just, how I have you and you won't ever leave me." She hugs my waist and lays her head on my chest. I brush her hair softly and kiss her forehead.

"Are we going to race or what?" Alec, my friend, asks as her notices Kaylin and I and Margo and Max.

"Yep, me and my darling are going to kick your girly bike." I grin as I sit on my motorcycle and give Kaylin a helmet. She straps it on and wraps her small arms around my torso and lay her head against my shoulder blades. I feel her take in a deep breathe and relax. She's so cute.

"You're adorable you know that?" I cock my head to the side to see her from the corner of my eye. The biggest smile appears on her face and she plants a kiss on my lips.

"I love you." She lets out softly.

"I love you, too." I repeat back.

"Yo Alec, where are we racing to?" Max yells over to where Alec is set up.

"Rosen Park." He says as he places his helmet on his head.

"Well, let's get this race started?" Margo pumps her fist into the air.

As the engine growls, the race begins in 3...2...1.

We race forward into the misty air and wet road. Making twists and turns here and there. Alec flings around in front of me and speeds by. I rem my engine and boost up to meet Alec and Max. I twist past them and make a left.

I feel Kaylin tighten her grip and tense up. Flash backs of memories come into my head. The first time I asked Kaylin out on a date, she was so excited. I took her out to this old fiftys diner my dad took my mom to when he proposed. I knew she loved old time things like houses, she wants to move into a Victorian home.

Another time when I asked Kaylin to our tenth grade dance. I made this big sign that said 'Be my date' and I put these photos on there of us since we first became friends. She was really thrilled about that. I'm hoping she'll be my date for prom next you.

Another time when Kaylin and I had a lazy date but she absolutely loved it. She came over my house to watch Netflix. I ordered pizza before she came and got snacks and candy she liked. She arrived in her sweats and t-shirt as the same thing I was in. We laid on the couch together and the pizza came. She was so adorable in her sweatpants and messy hair.

•Kaylin's POV•
The wind was blasting by us like tornado was happening. I could be the bike speeding down the road as we turned and moved. This was honestly scaring but I had this feeling in my heart that this was thrilling and
exciting.

I tightened my grip to Josh of the fear that I might fall off, and trust me I didn't want that to happen going this fast.

This was really unique for me to do something like this. I never rode on the back of Josh's motorcycle or anyone's actually. I was always scared because you had to balance to stay up just like a bike but you could go 150 mph on these things. And as this moves you leans lot, it's not like in a car like that kind of lean. And there's no seatbelts or doors to make me feel protected. Only Josh who controls this machinery.

I wonder what Margo is thinking of this?

•Margo's POV•
This is absolutely extremely fun! Whizzing by houses, cars, trees, and other competitors in this race. I can say if we are winning or not be either way, we're going to win.

The night sky makes everything look beautiful and the street lights guiding our way through the darkness. But, light or not this is awesome.

The wind wiping my hair every where and this feeling in my gut telling me to love this, is so correct! I love this!

I wonder how Kaylin feels about this?

•Max's POV•
These losers are so going to lose compared to my bikes speed and the funny thing is, they don't know the shortcut like I do. I take the next right and in a matter of time mostly everyone is on this road, two things. One either they followed me or two, they knew about the shortcut. But it doesn't matter I'm winning.

What, no! There's two motor cycles ahead of me! Damn it. I thought I was in the lead.

I speed up to get by them. As I speed past one motorcycle, I only have to catch up to this other one. I never noticed how far Rosen Park was. Man this would suck if we were racing by feet or just walking up here.

I'm glad it's a Friday night. I don't have to worry about going to school the next day and I have time to get rid of my hangover tomorrow morning. But, I do have to worry about my essay for school on Monday. Damn!

•Josh's POV•
I steer my bike left and right to avoid colliding with other motorists. Dodging them is hard enough when you have bugs flying at your face and wind blasting your ear drums. At least I have shades on to have nothing get in my eyes.

"Ewwwww!" I hear Kaylin scream into my ear.

"What?" I say panicked.

"A bug flew into my mouth!" She spits and spits to get the bug out.

I let out a chuckle, "Rule number one, never open your mouth while on a motorcycle." I hear Kaylin give a disgusted sound as she still spits. Oh Kaylin, you're my bug lover. Haha, I'm so funny. She loves me so much and I love her just as much, maybe even more.

As we past West Roden Avenue, I know we are about three minutes away from Rosen Park. Three people are ahead of me. I whip the bike and zoom forward and past one person, two to go. Of what I can tell, Max is in front but I can't make out who the other person is.

But, I'm not losing to Max. He's not going to beat me. I'm on the back of his trail and I'm not going to eat his dust, he's going to eat mine. Again, I rem the engine and swerve past Max and his girlfriend. You better watch out person in front, I'm not coming in second.

I'm nearly about to pass him when he steers in front of my path. I see how he's going to do this, stay in front of me so I can't pass him.

I'm trying to trick him but he seems to get in front of me in time. Man I hate this guy. I need to win. Rosen Park is coming up real soon so I need to get in front of this loser.

After what seemed like forever I scoot pass him and lead the whole race. One left and I win.

I make the sharp left but as I do there's a huge puddle where my bike goes and we go spinning. I hear a loud screeching noise and girls powerful scream. I try to brake doing this but I can't. I slam to the pavement. Last thing I remember, is looking up to the sky and then black.
