An Unforgotten Love

Chapter 2

I woke up to the sound of pans falling onto the ground. I got up quickly, going to the kitchen. Link was in the kitchen just in his boxers. Everything was a mess "Uhm Link..." I trailed off looking over my kitchen. He looked at me "Uhm... Good Morning..?" He smiled nervously. I looked at him "What are you doing?" He blushed slightly and looked away "Well... I wanted to make you breakfast since you weren't feeling so well since the news came on yesterday..." Now let me tell you something. Link isn't the best at cooking... He might even be the worst. I don't know how the boy lived on his own for so long. Everything he cooks always turns out burnt... I smiled softly "Thats so sweet, Link..." He looked at me "I kinda burned everything though... And when I tried to make it again all the pans fell off their hooks..." I giggled and walked over to him "How about we just go out to eat?" He looked slightly sad and nodded, putting the pans down. I guess he really wanted to do something for me... "Hey Link..." He looked at me "Yeah..?" I smiled and kissed his cheek "Thank you" He blushed "F-For what?" I smiled "For always being there for me" Before he could say anything else I left the room, going back to my bedroom to get dressed.

Link's POV

"How about we just go out to eat?" I frowned slightly and put the pans down. I really wanted to make her breakfast... She's always so nice to me. I want to be able to do something for her. But I can't do anything right... "Hey Link..." I looked back at her "Yeah..?" She smiled at me and kissed my cheek "Thank you" I blushed, feeling a spark go up my spine "F-For what..?" She smiled at me again "For always being there for me" She left before I could say anything else. She's got it backwards. She's the one that's always there for me...

Eleanor's POV

We got dressed and went out to eat. Link made sure that he paid for everything. He wouldn't let me half the bill with him. We decided to go for a walk through the park. "It's nice out today" I smiled and nodded in agreement. His voice was so soft and sweet. He's seems so innocent... "Hey Link..?" He looked at me "Hmm?" I blushed slightly and looked at the ground "Have you ever had a girlfriend..?" He blushed and looked away "Oh... Uhm... No I haven't..." I smiled slightly, so if we ever dated i'd be his first for everything... "It's starting to get dark.. We should go back now." I nodded and smiled at him "Okay."

We got back to the house and I saw something that terrified me... The front door was wide open, the house was a mess and someone had carved "I'm back little sis" into the walls... I felt tears rushing to my eyes and whispered "He found me..." I was trembling. I felt Links arms wrap around me "Shh its okay. I won't let anything happen to you" It wasn't me I was worried about... David he... He didn't want anyone else around me... I'm sure he knows Link lives here with me... This isn't good. Link is in danger. I have to get him out of the house... I have to make it look like I hate him.. So maybe my brother will leave him alone... "You have to leave" I whispered out. He looked at me in shock "Are you crazy? I'm not leaving you alone." I felt my heart skip a beat when he said that. But I couldn't let my feelings get to me. If he died... I'd never forgive myself... "Link you HAVE to leave." He shook his head, hugging me tighter "No. Please don't make me... I... I couldn't forgive myself if I just left you alone.." He couldn't do this to me... He couldn't try to make me feel bad... I sighed, giving in "Fine... But please.. Please just stay on your guard" He kissed my forehead "Of course I will. I have to protect you" I shook my head, blushing slightly "He won't hurt me... It's you he'll come after..." He smiled softly, trying to show me he'll be okay "I'll be fine." He kissed my forehead again, holding me close "Nothing will happen to me... I promise i'll be fine.." Even though he promised me he'd be fine... I just knew he wouldn't be. I knew something bad was going to happen... and it was going to happen soon.
