"You can do this, Hannah. She's one of your best friends. You know she's not straight. You know she's into you. You. Can. Do. It." Hannah said out loud to herself, pulling her car into Ingrid's driveway. Hannah had been planning on asking Ingrid out for weeks now. She remembered when she first knew she was into Ingrid.

"Take a whisk." Ingrid had said on her My Drunk Kitchen. It was possibly Hannah's favorite My Drunk Kitchen ever.

"You've done this plenty of times before. Women love you. You love women. It's gonna be great," she continued to herself.

But what if it's not? A tiny voice in the back of her head interrupted. She panicked for a second, then shook the thought away.

"Believe in yourself, Hannah!" She said almost angrily to herself.

She parked her car and hopped out of it, her anxiousness seeping through her body, making her shake a little. She grabbed the flowers from the backseat, then walked up to the front door.

This is it, Hannah. You can do this!

She rang the doorbell, and almost like she was expecting someone, Ingrid opened the door quickly.

"Luke, there you are!- Hannah?" Ingrid's tone changed quickly, making Hannah want to puke.

"Uhh, hey Ingrid, is this a bad time?"

Ingrid looked down at her phone, reading a text. "Not anymore, Luke can't come. What's up, Han?"

Hannah looked down at her feet, then looked back to Ingrid's gaze. "I, uhh, just, uhh, want to...," Her voice trailed off when she saw Ingrid's smile. It was unlike anything she had ever seen - it was soft, fragile, and loving. It gave Hannah the courage to finish her sentence. She pulled the flowers she was holding from behind her back, and continued. "Will you go on a date with me?"

Ingrid's smile widened. her glowing face making Hannah smile herself. "I would love to, Hannah."
