Your (POV)

All of EXO decided to hold a little Christmas party for this year. Each of them brought their girlfriends and even invited a few other idol groups like SNSD, F(X), and Shinee. Everyone was dressed in red, black, and white. You yourself were in a little, strapless, suede Santa dress that hugged every curve of your body perfectly. To complete the look you wore a cute Santa hat, black suede pumps, smoky eyeshadow, and red lipstick that made your lips 'pop'. You were sure tonight that your one and only boyfriend wouldn't be able to resist you.

As you made your way through the crowded dorm, trying to reach Kai, Taemin stopped you in your stride.

"Hey (y/n). Care to dance with me?" Before you could answer him, you looked a bit past his shoulder to see Kai chatting it up with D.O and Sehun. You looked back at Taemin and decided to go along with it since Kai was distracted anyways for the time being.

"Sure." Right when you got onto the dance floor, a slow song started playing and Taemin put his hands on your waist. You thought nothing of it at first and just put your arms his neck and linked your fingers together behind it. He was smiling down at you and as the song went on, you two got closer and closer until your forehead was leaning on his chest. When the song finally changed to a more up beat song, you and Taemin broke apart and started giggling together as he was spinning you around and around. Finally on the last spin, you were spun right into his arms; or so you thought.

"Having fun baby?" You recognized your boyfriend's voice but wasn't too sure it was him.

"Kai?"

"The one and only" he chuckled softly in your ear and sent shivers down your spine. Kai left a kiss on the back of your ear before turning you back around to him. You were still wondering how him and Taemin switched places so easily but the thought was shaken off when Kai pulled you in close to his chest like Taemin did earlier. You just let yourself melt into his warm embrace and the feeling of you doing so just made him chuckle. It was almost as if on cue another slow song started playing when-

"Take a look above you" he whispered into your ear. You looked up from his chest and saw the infamous mistletoe hanging above the both of your heads. You looked back down to Kai who just had his playful smile planted on his face. You just rolled your eyes and went in for the kiss. It was soft and sweet but still had a lot of passion in it.

"That's my boy~" you heard Taemin kinda scream above the music which made you smile and giggle into the kiss. When you finally pulled away from the kiss, Kai decided to peck your lips one last time before speaking.

"You're my light, joy, and heart (y/n). And I want you to know that I will always and forever love you." Just the sound of those words nearly made you tear up.

"I love you too Jongin." You two shared yet another kiss and time seemed to freeze right there. 'Could this night get any better' you thought to yourself.

(A/N: This day/ night just got a whole lot better because I'd like to say that I may be releasing a new fanfic soon. There will be smut scenes included, but they'll be more soft and sweet. Hope you enjoyed this little fluff here. 😘Have a Merry Christmas/ Happy Kwanzaa 😁
