The cruise ship towered over ahead of Liam and I. Liam surprised me with tickets to the Starlight cruise ship this year, it may have been for his business trip but we were also going to have our engagement party while we're on here. Since we wanted to have the engagement party our family had to come to. They were getting on two weeks from now though. So of course me and Liam were going to have our alone time. I was incredibly excited since I've never been on a cruise. I wandered what it'd be like. And I hoped that I wouldn't get sea-sick. But if I did I had Liam. We counted on each other for everything.

"I can't believe your boss booked something this fancy for a bunch of boring meetings.." I mumbled to Liam who was staring up at the cruise liner. Liam looked down at me grabbing my small hand in his larger one.

"I know but it's a miracle that he did,or else I wouldn't get to spend a whole month with you on this amazing trip." He bent down and kissed my for head. I smiled at thought of me and Liam being on this romantic cruise together for a whole month.

I looked up to notice that the line in front of us. where you show your tickets, had moved forward.

"Ooo! Liam, look. We're next." I squealed looking like a little girl. Liam chuckled before moving up. We pulled our bags behind us as we got out our tickets we had carefully kept safe for 3 months.

We gave the man our tickets and he then checked our bags. "The check in lobby's right down the gangplank. Ms?" He looked over to me, I nodded signalling him to continue. "Watch your step."

Liam gave him a quick nod before taking my hand in his warm one again. I looked down. Oops. I forgot i had worn heels. Probably not the best choice for today....

We walked down the gangplank towards check in. My heart was beating fast, I was so excited! The lobby had marble flooring with golden and glass walls. In the center of the lobby was a grand staircase. On either side of the stairs was two glass elevators. Formal couches and chairs sat in the waiting area while a big fountain, with dolphins and other fish were carved into the golden metal, sprayed out water. Some little kids threw coins into the big fountain. While others just watched.

Liam stepped ahead pulling me with him suddenly. I was mesmerized by the beauty of just the lobby itself. Liam looked back at me chuckling to himself. "You go look around I'm gonna get us checked us in"

"Okay, just find me when you're done." I gave him a kiss on the cheek before taking my bags and heading over towards one of the elevators. I stepped in, luckily there wasn't that many people in there with me. The elevator stopped on the second deck or floor, whatever you call it. Don't blame me I've never been on a cruise ship before. This floor was carpeted, I walked out of the elevator and headed towards two big doors.

Inside was probably the prettiest rooms I've ever seen. The floor was a tan marble close to the floor in the lobby. There was very elegant tables with matching chairs surrounding the floor. Hanging on the ceiling above was a beautifully shaped chandileir. I couldn't help but wander farther into the room.

"Lovely isn't it?" A unfamiliar voice sounded behind me. I jumped startled by the sudden talking. I turned around to meet the piercing green eyes of a boy around my age. I'll admit he is quite good looking.

"Oh, yes quite lovely." I started to gather my bags back up and started towards the door. I wasn't even sure if I should be in here. Just as the boy was about to say something else Liam came in.

"Finally, I wandered where you went." Liam came over to me and grabbed my hand. I felt kind of awkward for the young man standing in front of us. Liam nodded at him before leading us out of the room. "You are going to love the room!" Liam spoke after we were outside the ballroom. In front of us people rushed by pulling their bags , and some their children, along behind them.
