Taehyung: "Sitting like that on a man... you're either incredibly naive… or dangerously stupid."

Her eyes widened in panic, and she immediately tried to move but his arms tightened around her waist, locking her in place. Her movements had only worsened the tension in his body and increased his discomfort and now he was glaring at her with something dark and wild in his eyes.

Taehyung: "Don’t. Move."

His deep and commanding voice sent a chill down her spine. His arms were tight, possessive, unyielding. Yn froze like a small rabbit caught under a wolf’s paw. Her breath hitched in her throat and she blinked up at him with trembling eyes her small hands still clinging to his shirt.

Her eyes shifted from Taehyung’s intense gaze to the sleek, deadly creature approaching them. The massive black panther padded silently across the marble floor its glowing eyes fixed on her like a predator studying its prey.

Her heart thudded violently in her chest as fear overtook every inch of her body. She clutched hir shirt tighter from the shoulder, her small fingers trembling.

Yn (whispering in panic): "I-It’s coming... T-Taehyung-ssi.. it’s coming closer...!"

He didn’t look away from her. His eyes were still locked on her terrified face but there was something dark and unreadable behind them.

Taehyung (darkly): "I told you not to move."

Yn (desperately): "B-But it’s going to eat me! Please! Do something!"

The panther let out a low rumbling growl its body crouched low like it was preparing to pounce. Yn whimpered and buried her face into his neck, clutching him like he was her only lifeline.

He clenched his jaw in desperation and little anger not because of the panther but because of her stupid choices of action.

This trembling girl in his arms burying her face in his neck like he was her only protection… like she trusted him. Like she believed that he would actually keep her safe.

Taehyung (calmly, almost chillingly): "Let it come, He will not going to eat you."

Her grip on him tightened her breath shaky against his neck.

Yn (muffled): "H-How do you know…?"

He finally lifted his head his dark eyes locking with the glowing gaze of the approaching panther. For a tense moment, silence filled the air until the panther paused.

Taehyung: "Because they never touch what belongs to me or my prey unless I say so."

He smirked as the panther stop a few feet away lowering its head in submission.

Taehyung (firmly): "They know who their king is."

Yn looked at him with fear in her eyes and then looked at the panther who was now sitting a few steps away. She again looked at him and, scared, said:

Yn: "P-Please… take me back. I’m feeling scared here… please..."

Just as Taehyung opened his mouth to respond to her, just then a guard came rushing into the hall panting heavily his footsteps echoing loudly against the marble floor bowing with urgency but not daring to look directly at him.

Guard (urgently): "Boss! We caught that man, he’s in the basement!"

His expression instantly shifted. The soft smirk he held for a second disappeared and replaced by a sharp, icy glare. The warmth in his eyes vanished and the aura around him turned darker and more dangerous.
