She also embarrassed herself in front of a whole restaurant
"What happened?" Vera asked as she moved toward Allie. Carter's army coat hung to her shoulders. Seeing a happy couple was the last thing Allie wanted to see after what just happened.
"We broke up," Allie said through clenched teeth. The words were like daggers.
"Oh..." Vera said. She seemed to pity Allie. "I'm so sorry."
"Come on," Allie said. "We need to check on the weapon stock."
They left Tony's.
BOOM!
Screams came from all directions, seeping out of the smoke into Allie's ears. She could move he legs to run for help.
"Get up," a gruff voice ordered.
