We Are One!

Preparation Ch.35

Tomorrow is the day of the concert. So that means that we have to work really hard at rehearsals today. Since the concert is tomorrow we have to practice at the Club Nokia in Seoul. I got out of bed and went to go get ready. I changed into some comfortable clothing and tied my hair up. Once I finished I headed downstairs to eat breakfast.

"Morning guys!"

All: Morning Mi-Cha!

I grabbed a seat next to Baekhyun and started eating. After we finished eating, we cleaned up our stuff and headed out the door.

Xiumin: Hey Kai where were you yesterday? We called you many times, but you never answered. Same with Mi-Cha.

Chanyeol: Yeah and later on during the night, I saw you two come home late together.

"Well um...I went out with my best friend Nina."

Lay: And what about Kai.

"Um...he...um..."

Kai: I hanged out with my best friend Kris...anthemum...Krisanthemum.

Baekhyun: Oh really now? Then how do you explain the two of you coming home together.

"Well while I was walking home at night, I ran into Kai on the streets and he happened to be walking home too, so we just walked back to the house together."

Baekhyun: You better be careful. I'm watching you two.

Finally after an hour and a half drive, we finally arrived at Club Nokia. I got out of the car and walked in the club. It's so big! I'm so looking forward to the concert tomorrow. I walked up to the stage, placed my bag down, and started stretching with the other members. After we finished stretching, we were given microphones to practice with. First, we rehearsed the dance a couple of times with the music. Then, we started practicing it with the microphones. And finally, we put everything all together and practiced it with the music. We were all sweating and gasping for air. It was a lot of work, but we finally had a lunch break.

I grabbed the bag that was filled with food and placed it in the center. We all gathered around and started eating. I looked around the club, observing every detail. I really want the plan to workout tomorrow. After taking a few notes about the place, I headed back to where the others were. I sat down and started eating with them. An hour later it was time to rehearse again. We cleaned up all our trash and silver wares. Once we finished cleaning our mess, we rehearsed.

It was 10:00 pm and we finally finished rehearsing. But before we left, the manager called us to gather around.

Manager: Ok guys, so tomorrow is gonna be a very long day. For tomorrow, I want everyone to be here at the club no later than 8:30 am. The concert wont start till 7pm so we have a lot of time to rehearse and get everything ready. At the concert you guys are gonna perform two songs. You're gonna perform 'Call Me Baby' and 'Love Me Right'. After the concert you're gonna have a mini meet and greet with fans. So i want everyone to work very hard tomorrow understand.

All: Yes sir!

Manager: Good! You may all go home now.

We all grabbed our stuff and headed out the door, but I just stayed back.

Tao: Hey you coming?

"Um I kinda want to stay here and practice a bit more for the concert. You guys go ahead. I'll come later."

Lay: Ok. Don't come home too late.

I nodded and watched them all leave. Once they were all gone, I went to go observe the place again, making sure I don't miss anything. I checked out the stage setting, the lights, technology, music, etc. I checked everything one last time and finally called it a night. I grabbed my bag and headed out the door.

"Please let tomorrow work..."
