Love. Hate. The two most powerful emotions in the world. They define a person as a whole.
A person who is able to love is defined as someone with happiness, joy, warmth, among many others. However, there is also a sense of sadness and nostalgia involved, as love is not always rainbows and sunshine. At times it can break one to the point that there will be no hint at any type of hope in life.
The feelings of love can overtake a person to the extent that they may become totally obsessed with the person and begin stalking them online and in real life. These feelings are not love but just pure obsession. And obsession is often mistaken for the pure feelings of love.
A person that is able to hate is seen as someone full of negativity, jealousy, anger. There are also underlying feelings of pain, sadness, hurt, trauma and many more. Hate generally occurs due to some traumatic experience that happened in the past and it has had a lasting effect on the individual.
Today I will tell you a story unlike any other. There may be similar incidents however, one must understand each individual has their own unique twist in life. This story is one of love, hate, obsession, deceit, stalking and trauma.
This story will be relayed in the voice of the individual who shared these trials of his life with me.
Take heed that this is a true story and though you may get offended at certain points, remember, this is life. These are the trials of life that Allah promised in order to test our Imaan and our will. However, as human beings, we are not perfect, thus at times we succumb to listening and paying heed to the whispers of the Shaitan.
At others we feel the closest to Allah and an overwhelming guilt that we disobeyed him and his orders.
However one must remember, Allah is Ghafoor Al-Rahim. He is the forgiver of all sins.
On the authority of Anas Radhiyallahu Anhu who said: I heard the messenger of Allah say;
Allah the Almighty has said: "O Son of Adam, so long as you call upon Me and ask of Me, I shall forgive you for what you have done, and I shall not mind. O Son of Adam, were your sins to reach the clouds of the sky and were you then to ask forgiveness of Me, I would forgive you. O Son of Adam, were you to come to Me with sins nearly as great as the earth and were you then to face Me, ascribing no partner to Me, I would bring you forgiveness nearly as great as its."
