Beep beep beep.
I groan as my alarm clock goes off, rolling out of bed, my blonde hair sticking up in different directions. I rub my eyes, blinking a couple times, my eyes adjusting to the dark room. I walk over to the window, pushing the curtains open, wincing at the sunlight that streams in.
“Niall!!” A voice calls, as someone starts banging on my door.
“I’m already up, Liam!” I call back, sighing with relief as the banging ceases. I walk over to my closet, stripping down, and throwing on some clean clothes. My dad was flying in today, but I honestly had no idea when he would be here.
I walk into the bathroom, grabbing my gel off the counter, quickly working it into my hair. I brush my teeth, and glance in the mirror, grimacing at my reflection.
You look like shit, as always. A voice reminds me, and I shrug, slowly making my way out of my room and downstairs to the kitchen. I sit down on a stool at the counter, glancing at Harry, who was dishing pancakes out onto plates.
“Haz! You made pancakes!” Louis says excitedly, as he bounces into the kitchen. I watch as Harry’s lips twitch with a smile, glancing at Louis.
“Here you go, Lou.” He says, passing a plate to Louis. Then Harry grabs another plate, filling it with pancakes. He starts to slide it towards me, and my eyes widen, and I quickly shake my head. He stops, raising an eyebrow.
“I, uh, I’m full.” I say, looking at him sheepishly.
“I don’t believe it. The bottomless pit is full?” Louis gasps, through a mouthful of pancakes. I smile weakly, a blush rising to my cheeks.
“I got up in the middle of the night, and I was hungry, so I ate a lot, and I guess I’m still full.” I say, shrugging. Harry stares at me for another moment, before turning away from me, buying my lie.
“Morning, lads!” Liam greets, walking into the kitchen, far more happy than he should be at this ungodly hour.
“Is Zayn up yet?” Harry asks, handing Liam a plate of pancakes. Liam nodded, taking the plate and sitting down next to me.
“I believe he’s styling his hair.” Liam murmurs, and I snort, laughing a bit.
“That boy and his hair.” I mutter, smiling anyways though at the thought of the dark haired boy.
“Aren’t you going to eat, Ni?” Liam asks, and my smile fades for a moment. I shake my head, flashing a smile with teeth at him.
“I already ate, LiLi.” I say, reaching out, ruffling his hair. He shakes his head, in an attempt to fix his hair.
