~Kim's Pov~
I sigh and toss the book back on the table. "Nothing. Ughhh.. This library has no information." I whisper-shout. "I know, the internet is such a better source for... What subject were you doing again?" I look up, my next door neighbor secret crush stands in front of me."H-hey Duncan." I stutter, blushing at him. "Hey Kim."
He takes a seat next to me on the fluffy corner couch. "So what were you doing for your history project again?" He asks. I check my papers. "Q-Queen Victoria." I stutter again. "Ahh, The Queen Victoria, lets see about her." He pulls out his laptop out of his bag and puts it on the table in front of us.
He logs in and Googles it. We spend the next hour studing and talking about our history projects and just generally about life. Every thing was going great, then the final bell rings. "Has it been an hour already?" Duncan says looking over at me and closing his laptop. "I suppose." We pack up and he finishes first. "Well Kim, this has been fun. I hope we can do it again sometime." He smiles and starts to walk away.
I quick shove everything in my bag and run after him. "Duncan, wait up!" He stops and turns back to me as I reach him. "Yeah?" I wasn't sure of it, but I hugged him. "Thanks for the help." He hugs me back. "No problem Kim, it was really fun." We both step back with a slight blush.
"You wanna walk home together?" He asks, nervously kicking at the floor with his foot. "S-sure, I'd love t-that." With that we walked out of the school together, absentmindedly intertwining our fingers some where along they way. I have a feeling this is the start of a beautiful relationship.
