In response to his answer [Name]'s breath slightly hitched as he stared at the brunette, his e/c eyes trailing all over Suna's face for any trace of sarcasm or even something that indicated he was joking but, [Name] couldn't find anything.. Nothing at all..
All that was on Suna's face was a small smirk as his head tilted to the side, his eyes directly staring into yours as he merely watches you look over him with shock and confusion, this lasted for what felt like an eternity before [Name] fell backwards landing on his hand
"W-..you-..." he was stumbling over his words and bad at that, [Name]'s mind was reeling back and forth and his face became noticeably flushed as he quickly flung his head to the side, trying his very best to avoid any further embarrassment and vulnerability
Suna chuckles, falling backwards the same as [Name] did as he bursted out into a loud moment of pure laughter
"Y-you should see your face-" he laughed, [Name] stared in shock, he had never seen Suna laugh like this.. In fact he didn't even know Suna could laugh like this.. [Name]'s eyebrows furrowed in confusion before eventually he responded
"T-then you- you were joking with me!?" he questioned, flinging to sit on his knees as he leaned forward, if Suna was indeed joking with him.....deep down, he was feeling quite disappointed.
Suna chuckled some more before eventually regaining his composure and sitting back up properly, he reached a hand onto [Name]'s hair as he merely ruffled it,
"..I wasn't," he admitted "I was being... completely serious, you know." Suna leaned back, a hand on his face as he tried covering the flush look that was now occupying it, trying his best to mask his embarrassment as he tried to observe your reaction.
You took another breath in as you tried your best to regain what little composure you had left, your face was embarrassingly red and you could tell it was because of the surprise look on Suna's face, your face must've been to his satisfaction because even under his expression you could see a little smile forming on his lips.
"then-"
"S-so come with me to the party.. j-just once..." Suna interrupted, he was shaking and it was pretty obvious this was way out of his comfort zone but even so...you couldn't help but admire him.
[Name] shakes his head before letting out another exasperating sigh "hah..." your head tilted down as you watched Suna look at you in confusion
"what's wrong-"
[Name] quickly interrupts him, "nothing." you started "fine, This saturday right? I'll go with you." You finish before standing up, stretching your arms into the air as you watch his demeanor go from scared to as happy as Suna is capable of.
