Chapter 5

Charlotte L/N's POV

"Bring it on, blonde!" Mia yelled, the whistle blew and the battle training started. She charged at me first, she was about to slash me with her katana but I dodged it. My gauntlets made a clicking sound, which means that it is ready to use, then I gave a swift punch at her head which causes her head to get smashed into the wooden floor. I then gave her a powerful kick that made her fly across the room.

I walk up to her, her face filled with bruises and her lips, bleeding. I yanked her hair up that made her yelp, "so..." I began, "you think you can defeat me with that hunk of steel?" I asked sternly. She glared daggers at me.

Mia Hitomi's POV 

I glared at her, "no..." I paused, "but I still have... something to say to you...". She gave a confused look, "what?" I smirked and gave her a deadly look. "TIME STOP!" I yelled, then everything froze, even the people, I stopped time and space. I stood up, "game over!" I yelled. But when I stabbed her in the chest, nothing happened, "what?!". I scanned the whole room but she's not in sight, everything began to go back to normal. I looked up and--"ELIMINATE!" she yelled, no way.... I felt pain go through my whole body, I screamed. I collapsed to the ground and coughed up blood.

"How?" I asked, "I knew you will use your trump card in the start, so I used my after image." She said as she bent down, I smiled. "That's an interesting skill... I'm impressed." she smiled, "thank you." "Looks like you beat me, congrats." I chuckled, she helped me up and carried me to the other side of the room to let the others patch me up. 

Charlotte L/N's POV

I walk up to the center of the room, "Charlotte defeated Mia and she is our new winner today, who wants to challenge her again?" The assistant announced. 

No one, no one said anything, they're all scared of fighting me. I smirked, "so no one wants to battle with her? Alright, then Charlotte, congratulations on passing our training." I bowed my head and went to the other side of the room.

No one's POV

It was already lunch time and the trainees went to the cafeteria, they all took they're trays and lined up. The two siblings had their food in the trays and sat at one of the tables, they ate in silence until Mike Schmidt sat beside them, which made it more awkward. "So, Jeremy..." He began, "have you ever had a girlfriend?" He smirked, Jeremy spit the juice he was drinking and blushed madly, "what?! No, no I haven't." He replied, "oh... well I do, her name's Doll." He said as he ate his sushi.

Jeremy felt jealousy built up inside him, "oh... really?" He said with no interest at all. 'I knew it.' He didn't notice that the grip on his fork was getting harder and tighter that it started to bend a little, Mao saw this but kept quiet. 

Jeremy Fitzgerald's POV

"Yeah, she's beautiful, kind, innocent..." Those words made me feel sick. I began to tear up, "excuse me..." I said as I stood up from my seat and exited the cafeteria and proceeded outside. 

'Why her?' I thought as tears ran down my cheeks.
