"New case everyone." Hotch announces as he sets a case file on top of the round conference table. He then sits down as Penelope starts showing evidence across the smart board.

"Maddie Shutoe" , Female, 5'2, 108 pounds, black hair, green eyes, freckles all over, 23 years of age. Originally born in Seattle, Washington. Moved to the great state of Mississippi when she was three. But at age 16 her parents packed up and moved to Maryland, because the law firm her father was employed with moved out here to the local D.C. area. She's currently a student at SCAD or Savannah Collage of Arts and Design. She went missing around the time of her birthday. Which was 3 weeks ago. Her parents hadn't known this until she didn't come back home for thanksgiving break-" Penelope was interrupted by Morgan.

"Baby girl, she's an adult girl in collage. Who's to say she didn't go to a friend's house for thanksgiving?" Morgan Questioned.

"This." Penelope then clicked the remote control to the smart board revealing a crime scene. "Her savannah, Georgia apartment was ransacked, looking like there was a struggle. She left behind her phone-which her parents say is quite odd, seeing is how she spends most of her free time on it- along with a lot of important medications. If that doesn't scream "help me!" I don't know what does." She concluded.

"Who was the last person in contact with her?" Giddian said.

"Umm, according to her phone records, the last person Maddie was in contact with was her friend, Donna, who lives all the way-oh she's lives right here in Maryland." Penelope's mouth was in an 'O' shape by the time she finished.

"And what did her friend have to say?" J.j. Inquired.

"According to her friend she was finally happy to go home for thanksgiving break to see her parents, because being out of state made her anxiety a little bit more active than usual, and being home would make her feel more safe and secure."

Spencer chimed in. "She said "safe and secure". Did her friend know why she used those exact words?"

"I see what you're hinting at there and Donna said she did not know, but she felt something was up and Maddie usually shares everything with her." Penelope read from a file of information.

"Did she have any friends or anything while away at collage, that we could question?" Morgan asked.

Hotch butted in. "Yes, she has several professors, and one friend."

"One friend?" Spencer questioned out of curiosity.

"Yes," Hotch replied. "According to her parents Maddie was very shy and for the most part kept to herself."

"An easy target." Prentice added. "Smaller circle of friends or people she is close to, the easier to abduct. No witnesses, nobody to take notice of her missing as quickly. As I said-an easy target."

"The better question is, who is this friend?" Morgan wondered.

"Emma Taylor, female, 22, 5'8, 134 pounds, wavy dirty blonde hair, and brown eyes. Came all the way over from the UK just to study at SCAD." Hotch answered. "She didn't really have much to say to local authorities. Other than she thought it was strange when she hadn't seen Maddie around campus for the last of this month."

"I find that strange. Your "best friend" is gone for about half a month and you don't worry? Alright we are going to Georgia."
