Prologue

What if he's your Prince Charming,

The time when I fell in love with the wrong person,

That certain question always cross my mind.

"Look at yourself in the mirror. No one would ever fall for a cheap girl like you."

Falling for him made my heart suffer a great destruction.

"How funny~ It's normal for a guy to reject someone like her."

"That girl's so dumb for falling in love with someone like him."

"Everyone already knows that she doesn't even stand a chance. How come she didn't give up?"

Love is created to cause you sorrow and pain. It's nothing but a lie hiding behind a beautiful façade. It's just a trap, meant to deceive you through temporary happiness and false promises.

That was what I always told myself, In order to protect the remaining fragments of my broken heart.

Walking with broken legs, living with shattered dreams.

Those were just my everyday routine.

Problems. Humiliation. Pain.

Those are the things that made up my life.

"You're no longer part of the main family, Saori. I'm very so-"

"Well actually, to be more honest, you've never been a part of us in the first place!"

My presence is never appreciated.

My existence is never valued.

And my very being had always been hated.

Not until I met him,

"Shh...I'm right here, and I'm willing to listen."

The feeling that I once ignored and the life that I frequently wasted, began to come back to their senses.

Funny how even the most cliché things in life became meaningful.

And it was all because of him; all because of an encounter with him that changed my whole life through.

Everything came back though. The emotion that I kept on suppressing inside managed to control me.

And I found myself falling for someone who cannot return my feelings.

"No...I shouldn't fall for him."

I thought that things would go on the same way just like before.

But it was different,

"What will you do, if I fall for you?"

"I think...I'll give you a chance. I'll be reserving a room for you."

That's the point when I came to realize,

That there's more to life than what I have experienced,

And there's more to love than what I have learned.
