Misused
Mistakes
Too long
Too late
Who was I to make you wait?
Just one chance
Just one breath
Just in case it's just one left
Cause you know, you know
You know!I sigh, listening to the Nickelback song as I clean my room.
Cleaning your room is not a fun chore.
I have my purple skull headphones on, full blast as I play my Transformers Prime playlist, all made up of TFP Tributes.
Next thing I know, the song decides to jump and change to Centuries by Fall Out Boy.
This isn't in the playlist, it's in my Avenger playlist. Stupid iPhone app.
I finish vacuuming before dumping it in the hallway and throw things off my bed and onto my desk. Mum didn't say what part of the room to clean.
Wow, I'm an angel child.
Lost in the music, after changing it back to the right playlist, I don't hear the knock on the door, nor the footsteps until a pair of arms wrap around from behind me.
I jump, yelping before my headphones get caught on the edge of my bed, yanking them off and my iPhone along with it, both crashing to the floor.
"Nooooooo! My iPhone!" I shout, crouching down and gently picking it up, making sure there's no screen cracks, thankfully, I find none.
"Now I know who comes first, your iPhone then me."
I roll my eyes at Jackie's comment, "don't forget it." We had made up last night, what?
His persuasive.
Any other man or mech, would be roadkill.
Exploded roadkill.
"So what's this about a game on Sunday?" He asks as I pick up the two items and chuck them onto the bed, putting my hands on my hips and looking at him.
"Ooh~! You mean my game, right?"
He nods. "And your brother."
"Afl, Australian Football League. I'm in the all girls junior team, while Ethan plays in the under 13's. This is my last year before I have to try out for the senior girls afl team."
(Sorry guys, had to add this in :p, I'm a true blue Australian, deal with it)
"So how do you play it?" He asks, frowning.
"If you want to live, don't ask that question with my dad around. If TFP was based in Australia, I would kick your aft, but I'll explain anyway, quickly."
"It's a contact sport, girls are, unfortunately, only allowed to bear hug tackle, you can take 'em to the ground, unless you go with them. There's different positions, I won't get too much into but I'm either centre-half forward or back, and sometimes in the centre circle, one of the most important positions, if you win it out of the middle, your team will have the advantage."
He looks at me, still confused, I sigh. "There's a professional afl game on tonight, the team we go for is playing against one of our rivals. If you want to watch with the family, you'll understand better."
Then an idea pops up into my head.
"Maybe I should get every bot to watch it!"
