PERCY'S POV
I was having the best of dreams. I was dreaming of blue cookies and my mom. I was at home again, and we were eating blue cookies in the kitchen, talking about random things. It was amazing.
Until it changed.
Tartarus began to take shape - but of course, I was pulled from it before it could form fully.
"Percy!" A familiar voice yells. "Get up!" Of course, I didn't open my eyes straight away. I mean, who would? "GET UP!" The person screams, and I find myself on the floor. Who in the world would do that? Oh, right, yeah. Now I know who's trying to wake me up.
"Really, Thalia? You couldn't just wait for me?"
Yup. Thalia, my cousin, daughter of Zeus and lieutenant to the hunters of Artemis. She is literally the only one who would shove me off my bed to wake me up. Other than Annabeth, but she only ever shoves me onto the floor when I refuse to get up. Thalia doesn't even wait for me to say anything.
It's not like I feel pain, or anything.
With the amount of noise the pair was making, I knew that Annabeth was already up and out.
Ever since our little ... trip down to Tartarus, we've had to stay in my cabin together, purely because the nightmares are too much for either of us, and it's always better when we know the other is fine when we wake up from a nightmare. Don't get all excited - she sleeps in the bunk next to mine. We don't sleep together in the same bed unless the nightmares hit hard. Take last night - Annabeth dreamt of Arachne again, and couldn't sleep because she thought that spiders were going to get vengeance on her for killing their mother. I had climbed into her bed to get her to go back to sleep.
"You just had to shove him onto the floor?"
"Oh shut up, Piper." Thalia snaps.
"Violence is not going to wake him up unless you're Annabeth. Everyone knows that, Thalia." Piper says, and I knew at that moment what she was about to do. "Percy, get up." The charmspeak hits me like a wave, and I get up, stretching my arms.
"And charmspeak isn't violence, Pipes?" I ask, grinning.
"I will, Percy. I will make you do something embarrassing."
"Okay, okay. Yeesh, I'm sorry." I say, pulling off my rumpled shirt and changing it for one of my orange Camp Half-Blood t-shirts. I look at my two friends, waiting. Of course, they don't understand the look I was giving them. "Would you mind leaving?"
"We'll be just outside." Piper says, and she and Thalia hurry out of my cabin. Quickly, I change my shorts for denim cut offs, and put a pair of trainers on. Grabbing Riptide, I leave my cabin.
"What took you so long, Seaweed Brain?" A sweet voice asks, laughing. I look over Thalia's shoulder and see Annabeth jogging over, smiling.
"Nice to see you too, Wise Girl." I reply, pulling her into a hug. When we part, Annabeth turns to the girls and grimaces.
"Chiron sent me to find out what was taking so long - he wants to tell us all the prophecy, but obviously ..."
"Kelp Head wouldn't get up."
"I was having a good dream." I protest, but of course, Annabeth sees through it. She always does. "About my mom and blue cookies."
"Always blue, Percy. Always blue." Piper says softly, shaking her head. "Blue is such a sad colour." Her time in the Aphrodite cabin is making her turn into an Aphrodite girl. Zeus help us when she starts wearing makeup and skimpy clothes.
