The sun came peaking through my window. I stretched then made my way to the washroom. I brushed my teeth, did my hair and got changed. I picked
It was August 23rd, two days before the first day of senior year. I woke up and decided to take my dog Rufus for a walk around the neighbourhood. After taking Rufus for a walk, I ate breakfast with my parents. My mom made her famous chocolate chip pancakes, and my dad sat reading the paper. "So kiddo school starts in two days are you ready?" He asked. "ready as I'll ever be" I sighed. My dad always pushed my hard academically, but the truth was I didn't want to be a doctor, I loved writing, but he'd never approve. We finished eating breakfast, and my friends insisted we go shopping to get an outfit for a party my boyfriend Nate was throwing. I'd rather wear a pair of black skinnies and a band shirt, but it's hard to say no to Courtney and Amanda.

Courtney Amanda and I walked up to the entrance of the mall. Outside stood Alec Daniels, Ryder Cortes, and Mason Whittmore, "delinquents" or "bad boys" as most people referred to them as. " a murderer and his sidekicks" Amanda said and began to laugh, Courtney joined in as well. Sometimes I wondered why I even hung out with them, I wasn't like them I was an outsider, who some how ended up Nate Haynes. We decided to go into nasty gal. I reluctantly looked around for a dress and found nothing. Courtney and Amanda had already found dresses so they went looking for a dress for me. They came back with a black high low dress with cutouts on the front, I had to admit it was beautiful, so I tried it on. " wow" Courtney said "ditto" replied Amanda. " really guys? You think so?" " obliviously! You look amazing!" I smiled. After getting our dresses we raided the mall for shoes. After a long couple of ours we were done. We got back to my house with two hours to get dressed and do our makeup. My hair was styled in loose waves and I had a beautiful smokey eye. It was 7:30 so we made our way over to Nate's. This time last year I would've been at home watching marathons of parks and recreations and eating pizza, but things have changed. We walked up to the house that was blasting music on the front lawn were drunk teens and couples making out. Gross I thought. I walked into he house and walked into the kitchen to meet Nate. " Anna I'm so glad you're here" Nate said as he placed a kiss on my cheek, I smiled. Everything was perfect. Nate and I decided to dance for what seemed like hours. I decided to sit down, and Nate went to make sure no one was in his room. A couple minutes later the sound of sirens filled the place, teens were running frantically to get out, but I ran upstairs to get Nate. I couldn't find him and I tried texting him but nothing worked. I decided I had to leave, so I ran downstairs and bumped into something... Or rather someone, to be particular a police man who had quite the angry stare.

I was taken to the station where my parents had to pick me up. I got help accountable for the whole thing! My parents were so mad! To keep it off my record I got stuck doing community service, and the worst part on the other side of town at a foster home and if that wasn't bad enough I'd have to do it for two months.
