Hihi everyone!!
As promised in the last chapter, another event is being held in discord in honor of reaching 250k reads! This time, you guys will have a chance to submit an idea for a scene or scenario that you think would be fun to include in the story – and the winner will be officially published in a future chapter! More about the event has been posted over on Discord if you're interested!! TYSM for everything, as always <33 You guys are amazing!!!
Otherwise, I hope you enjoy the chapter!! It's short, but we get to enjoy a little girl time after all the havoc that took place during Foxy pirates – time for some relaxing filler! Wanted to showcase the dynamic now that our MC has experienced three arcs with the crew.
Happy reading everyone!! <333333

The skittering scribbles of Nami's quill scraping the parchment was all too familiar, the habit being the girl's usual chaser after a finished breakfast. I sat with the navigator and the archeologist at the table, the three of us quietly discussing the rest of the day's events as the boys were busy... Well, doing whatever it was that the boys normally did. That is, aside from Sanji – Muttering to himself in the background as he fiddles with the fridge's broken chains – I had avoided looking him in the eyes all morning.
"Wait, what about a girls day?" I perk up, remembering the mention of it during the Davy Back fight. "You brought it up before, Nami... That might be nice."
"A girls day?" Robin's interest is piqued, though she doesn't look up from her reading. "When did this idea come about?"
"Uh..." I dawdle, visions of sobbing behind the food stall shown prominently at the question. When Robin's eyes flicker to my grimace, I hand her a nervous smile. "I may or may not have been freaking out at the time..."
"I see." And I'm certain that the archeologist finds the notion somewhat comedic, yet she doesn't outwardly show that's the case.
"Oh, right." Nami raises her head, blinking as the thought eventually registers, as she's otherwise focused on her craft. "We can do that, but I need to finish this up first. I'm almost done with the layout, there's just a few more specific details I'd like to include about Long Ring Long Land before I put it down. If I could only just remember what it was..."
"That's fine, it's not like we're rushing or anything." I nod slightly, brushing back the fur on Ivory's cheeks as he nips at one of my fingers. "Is this the final draft?"
"Hopefully," Nami sighs, the task somehow more tiring than it should've been. "All that stuff that happened yesterday is making this one harder to work on than my other maps. Maybe I'll just keep this one as a draft or something and come back to it later... Those idiots were so annoying that even thinking about it stresses me out."
"That may be best. Don't overwork yourself, Miss Navigator." Robin smirks, glancing up from her book with head in palm. "I think it's safe to say that all of us deserve a break after dealing with that Foxy Captain."
And Aokiji. I wanted to add, but thought against it. The archeologist clearly held some apprehension towards the man, and the topic hadn't been brought up since Chopper had 'revived' both her and Luffy – not even a single time. It was better to leave it be, especially considering how Robin's mood had significantly improved since then. After she'd been thawed, the woman was oddly distant from the crew up until this morning... so I was just happy that she was alright, now.
"Yeah, you're probably right." Nami huffs, letting the writing utensil go slack between her fingers, gazing longingly at the parchment. She seemed torn at the idea; reluctant, but wanting.
