Harry's POV
"Love you." I said quietly and grinned.
"Love you too." Louis told me and winked. I leaned in and pecked his mouth quickly so no one would see. Wouldn't want the word to get out after all this time.
Louis and I stood behind a large black curtain that blocked us from seeing anything on the other side, getting ready to go on stage in front of 40,000 people in Seattle as part of our On The Road Again Tour. The roar of the crowd could be heard from all around us. I saw Louis fidget and bounce around as we heard screams and shouts. He looked up at me and made an impression of a fan screaming as I giggled and starting to jump with him.
The intro music was about to start. This was the part of the buildup when the screens had gone black and the lights went down. Go time.
I took Lou's strong hand in my giant one and squeezed it as we rushed up the stairs on the side of the stage and joined Niall and Liam behind the huge red sliding door that was our entryway to the stage. As we ran up the stairs holding hands, we had to stay close to the curtain so no one in the upper levels of the stadium could see us. Once we climbed the stairs to the backstage platform, Louis tightly squeezed my fingers and took his spot in front of our line of four. Louis, then Liam, then Niall and then finally me. I took my spot in the back, so far away from Louis. This was going to be an interesting concert for him. For all of us I suppose. Very interesting.
Because we were still kind of getting used to the stage without Zayn, we were always excited to see if a certain foreign city like Seattle was still interested in us. I heard we had sold between 35,000 and 40,000 tickets for tonight's show. Not as big of a crowd as I knew we could handle but all four of us could agree that this was absolutely incredible.
I looked ahead to see Louis' wide eyes looking back at me. He was never this nervous before a show. Tonight was different.
The news had just been released that Louis had gotten one of our stylist friends, Brianna, pregnant. He was going to be a father. In recent days, we had all received loads of tweets asking us to confirm something about the baby, especially me. We were expecting baby themed signs, random shouts and a certain pity and awkwardness in the air. Would we actually get it? Time to find out I supposed.
"Hands in lads!" Niall shouted. He put in his hand like he did every night and I layered mine between Liam and Louis' clammy hands.
"One, Two, Three! Be Pushed!" We said as we cheered and bounced around like a bunch of singing idiots.
The video had started playing just as we turned around. We then proceeded to yelling at each other and adjusted our microphones to the perfect setting, right where it would be the perfect volume when held to our mouths.
I helped Niall get his earpiece positioned next to his jaw because he always played his electric guitar for the first part of the show. It's what he loved to do. He once told me that it made him feel more comfortable. He stuck his tongue out and shrieked in my ear with excitement. I had to shout at him to calm down because his jumping around was keeping me from fixing his microphone.
The music finally came to an end. The fireworks shot up into the sky and the door opened. Louis ran out, followed by the rest of us as I sang the opening note of Clouds. I looked over and saw Louis heading to the opposite end of the stage as me, just like he always did. He was right where he was told to be. Far away from me. As always.
The noise was deafening. I couldn't even pick out individual sounds. All I could do was watch girls smile and turn to their friends as I waved at them. I didn't really understand to be completely honest with you. I turned to look in Louis' direction and smiled when I saw he was getting the same reaction I was getting from the girls in the front rows. My boyfriend, the superstar singer from One Direction. My boyfriend, Louis William Tomlinson. I had almost forgotten about the baby until I looked out into about the tenth row and saw a sign reading "LOUIS CONGRATS ON THE BABY".
As I looked around I saw even more reading the exact same thing.
"WE ARE READY FOR LARRY"
"CONGRATS LARRY"
"LOUIS IS MY DADDY"Those were just some of the signs I saw right off the bat. I felt anger and hurt start to bubble up inside of me, although the last one had made me chuckle a bit. They didn't know. They had no idea. They had no idea what Louis and Brianna were going through. They had no idea what I was going through.
I woke up every morning wondering why I had to hide who I was. That was the whole point of life right? To be yourself? Why couldn't Louis and I show everyone that we were happy together?
I think most of our true fans knew about me and Louis. How could they not see it? I could never take my eyes off him once I started watching him. He was beautiful in every way possible. He was perfect. He was mine. Mine forever.
I wish they were allowed to know.
I'll explain my view of the whole baby situation a lot later in the story. If you're reading this, please tell me what you would like to read in this story. This is my first story and I'd really like some help. Thanks for reading this first chapter!!
