"let's go to wal - mart," mikey begs as they leave the movie theater, the boy was pulling at luke's hand and bouncing up and down like an excited child that had consumed way too much candy,

"alright, let's go," wal - mart wasn't far away from the movie theater so they just walked, lukey smiled down at mikey and grabbed his hand, 

the boy looked up at luke and smiled as he poked his nose, "thank you for taking me to the movies, lukey, i had so much fun" luke loved seeing michael so excited and happy, it was adorable.

when they entered wal - mart michael took them to the aisle where all the hair dye was, "can i dye my hair?" michael asks him as he held up a bottle of lilac hair dye, "if you want babe,"

"yay!" the boy said too loudly, he quickly covered his mouth and whispered a sorry to the other people in the aisle along with them, 

luke laughed as he grabbed the boy's small free hand, "i love you baby," the blonde mumbles, mikey places his arms around luke's torso in surprise luke stumble back a little bit, 

"i love you too lukey, so much," mikey squeezed him tighter, luke rubbed michael hair and then rubbed his cheek and kissed his nose, 

"could you kiss my lips please lukey," luke smirked and leaned down to kiss the short boys lips.

 "i'm so nervous, do you think it will look okay?" michael asks ashton whose dying his hair as lukey and cal watches, "i think you'll look beautiful baby," luke says before ashton could say anything, 

michael blushes, "thanks lukey,"

after a few minutes ashton is washing the boy's hair, michael squeezed his little eyes tightly hoping to not get anything in his eyes. 

"alright mikey, stand up, i need to dry your hair then we'll be done," 

the boy was so eager to see his new hair color, he hummed a song in his head as ashton dried his hair, his green - ish grey eyes would occasionally glance over at luke who was already looking at him and smiling, that would make mikey blush. 

"alright sweetie, we're all done," michael happily stood up and rushed over to the mirror down the hall, "i love it!" the boy screamed loudly, as he ran back into the kitchen and hugged ashton until the curly haired boy couldn't breathe.

"you look beautiful baby," luke smiled as michael jumped into his arms and wrapped his legs around his torso, "i love you," michael whispered in luke's ear as his feet dropped to the floor, 

"it's getting late, i'm going to sleep, goodnight ashy, goodnight cally, and goodnight lukey," michael kissed all three boys on the cheek as he skipped down the hall and stepped up the stairs, 

the boy decided he'd just wake up early and shower, he didn't feel like showering, he was already tired. 

he took off his shirt and shorts and tugged his little pony shirt over his head, he grabbed his teddy bear from off the floor and got into the bed and cuddled up the freshly clean covers.

everyone at school complimented michael's new hair color, the boy was wearing luke's baby blue shirt and a pair of floral shorts pulled high at his waist because they were a bit large, he was also wearing luke's shoes. 

"you look gorgeous baby," someone whispered in his ear and pinched his butt making him spin around quickly and furrow his eyebrows, "please don't touch me and don't call me that," 

michael felt so small compared to these guys they were tall and extremely broad and muscular, "your name is michael, isn't it?"

the boy clenched his books against his chest as he looked up at both the boys who were looking slightly down at him with smirks, "you're so sexy, baby" one of them touched his cheek, he moved away from his hand,

"i - i have to g - get to class," mikey mumbles as he politely pushes past them, one of them grabbed his arm, "wait, can we walk with you?"

"no, i want to walk alone," the boy hurried off to find calum, the lilac haired boy tapped calum's shoulder until he turned to face him, 

"what's wrong? why do you look so nervous mikey?" calum chuckles until he realized something was wrong, "did those idiots say something to you?"

michael shake his head and looked down at his shoes (luke's shoes), "one of them touched my bum, cally," 

calum sighed as he wrapped his arms around michael's shoulders, "it's alright mikey,"

michael was happy, he was finally taking all his drawings in art home, calum was taking michael home because luke wasn't there yet. 

"are you going to stay with me until luke gets home," mikey asks with a smile on his face, "sure love," michael unlocks the door to the house and walks inside, 

"i should check the mailbox," the lilac haired boy walked out to the mailbox and walks back inside, "i have a letter from my mum,"

michael sat the mail on the counter and went to sit in the living room, calum followed. 

"do you like they miss me?" calum rubs michael's back, "of course they miss you, you're their son,"

the boy shakes his head slowly, "no, i'm not their son. my father doesn't claim me anymore, he told me that he didn't, he said that he hated me and never wants to come back," 

michael rubbed away the tears that were building up in his eyes, "why does he hate me so much, calum?" 

calum stayed quiet and wrapped his arms around michael, "he doesn't hate you, i know he doesn't,"

"i saw him not too long ago, maybe a few months. he didn't even look at me, but kept walking like i wasn't even there, i said hello and everything and he just ignored me,"

"why can't he accept me?" 

michael cried into calum's shirt, then the door opened and luke walked in, the blonde entered the living room and immediately asked what's wrong, 

"karen sent him a letter," calum mouthed to luke, 

"oh baby, please don't cry," michael lifted up his head and looked up at luke with sad eyes, the boy lifted his arms out to luke, luke lifted michael, the boy sobbed into luke's shoulder. 

"i have to go, but i'll come back later i promise, i love you mikey,"

"i love you too cally," calum kissed the side of michael's face and left. 

"please don't ever leave me lukey, i don't want you to ever leave me because i'm different, please promise me," luke looked into michael's sobbing eyes that dripped tears, 

"i won't ever leave you baby i promise, i love you, i'd never leave you,"
