When i turned around I saw a man with a knife out and walking towards me. I was so scared and didn't know what to do. So I just kept backing up until I hit the wall. The man was still approaching me and had a sadistic smile on his face. All of a sudden the man was pushed to the ground with another man beating him up. The man on the ground pushed the other guy off and took off. The man that saved me turned around and i gasp at who it was. It was the man from earlier today the leader of the vulture gang. I was still scared but not as much as I was before. He came up to me and held out his hand I carefully took it still scared and now confused. All of a sudden though I realised that the back of my head hurt. My hand went to the back of my head and I felt something wet and sticky, and then my eyes got heavey and the last thing I remember is that I fell.
Jaxson POV. Right before she hit the ground I caught her. I dont know why but I had panick flood through me seeing her like this. I carried her to my car and took her to our safe house. I texted jimmy the docter that helps us when one of us is hurt to come over to check on her. When we got there I took her to my room and waited for jimmy to come up. When he got here he ask me what happened and I told him and he started to check her. After he was done he said she had a concussion but nothing serious. I let out a sigh of relief even though I don't really know this girl I don't want her to get hurt,and I promise myself I will protect her.
