Hey guys! This is the really short prologue to my homestuck fanfic! It's also my first official fanfiction, so forgive me if I seem sloppy. I'm mainly doing this to practice my writing, but also because I absolutely love homestuck. I hope this seems interesting and that this leaves you wanting to read more. If I have time, I may have the first chapter up today or tomorrow. Sooner or later, I'll have the cover up, too, but that might take awhile since I'd rather write than draw at the moment. But, you'll still have this! Enjoy.

Gold.
It's the first thing I notice. Everything is golden. Everytime I dream, it's golden. But tonight, it's different. The atmosphere feels dark. Something is wrong. I stil lay in the golden bed inside of the golden tower, taller than the other towers outside of what I call my tower. I always wake up in here when I fall asleep in my world. But I feel pain.
I attempt to climb out of the bed, but I slide to the floor and cry out slightly. My hand naturally goes to touch the area of pain, but I cry out once more. I'm bleeding. I've been stabbed. I hear voices outside of my golden room door, but before they open the door, everything isn't gold. For the first time, in my dreams, nothing is gold.
Everything is black.
