I fiddle with the sticky note in my hands while singing at a show in my home town, New Jersey. Unfortunately, someone notices, and yells out as loud as they can, "What are you holding, Gee?"

The girl fans giggle in response to my nickname. I hold up the sticky note for the whole audience to see. "Oh, this? It's just my girlfriend's number. No need to worry."

The audience resonated with "Awww"s in every direction.

I put away the sticky note in my black jacket, re- adjusting my red tie. "Okay, guys. Thanks for coming out here to our love, our seed, our hometown, New Jersey!"

The audience screams, some men waving their shirts in the air.

"For the people that actually live here, you guys are fucking awesome! Stay weird!"

And with that, we exited the stage, clapping each other on the back. When we're almost at our tour bus, I see Miley fiddling with his guitar, beads of sweat forming on his hairline. I walk next to him.

"Bro, what's wrong?" He runs his hands through his hair, searching the empty venue.

"Gerard . . . I saw Jade. In the Crowd, I mean. Did you know that she goes to every one of them?" He states, cocking an eyebrow.

I almost lost it right there and then.

"We gotta go, Mikes!!" I drag his arm with me.

"We gotta go to the venue and see if anyone's there!!!"

Mikey stopped dead in his tracks, taking in violent gulps of air.

"No, Gerard-I can't . . . . I can't go on- I'm too tired."

He said, while resting his hands on his thighs.

I looked around, desperately hoping there would be a vehicle left un-attended.

There was.

Even though it looked like it just came out of an 80's sitcom, I'll still take it over running.

We hopped in the van, Mikey in the front and me in the back, and drove to the venue.

It crushed my heart to see that it was empty.

So, this is really short.
Sorry.
But hey, SCHOOL . . . .
I'm not excited;-;
But you guys should be!
Anyway . . .
Y'all just keep being y'all.
