"Ahhhh" I said in my head while jumping around my room

"What's got you happy Lexi" Tristan said

"Nothing" I said winking

"We all know that isn't true" he said laughing

I joined in laughing and at the end we were just rolling on the ground with tears rolled down our faces.

Our fun was rudely interrupted by our
Mom yelling at me to go downstairs

I rolled my eyes and grabbed my phone and walked down the stairs with an annoyed face

"What do you want mother" I said with a fake smile

"You know exactly what I want, bitch" my mom said with a angry tone knowing she was was gonna hit me

And before I know it I feel a hot stinging sensation on the side of my cheek.

Knowing she slapped me, tears sprung to my eyes and rolled down my cheek

I instantly ran upstairs where Tristan was waiting for me with a worried expression written on his face but once he saw me that expression turned angry

"WHAT DID SHE DO TO YOU?!" Tristan yelled scaring me more than I was before

I ran to the corner and rocked back and forth trying to calm myself down and after a while I let sleep take over my body.

Tristan's POV

I'm so mad at her! She's not the mother I grew up to know and then she fucking slaps my baby sis

Oh no Lexi! Where did she go! Shit! Right before I was going to exit our room

I saw a fragile and innocent looking little girl who was fast asleep in the corner of our room. I took out my phone and snapped a picture and captioned it:

Aww she looks so cute

I picked Lexi up and gently placed her in bed and kissed her forehead

"I'll always be there for you Lexi no matter what, you can count on me" I whispered

I instantly curled up right beside her and let sleep take over me
