Seat mates?

Ylona's POV
"You should definitely check out my new cover! I dedicated it to you." I am with my best friend, Zonia right now and I'm forcing her to listen to the cover I posted last night. It's currently recess break in school, me and Zonia are sitting in the cafeteria with our milkshakes.

"Fine Ylona! Haha namimilit ka nanaman eh.. I'll listen to it when I get home." Zonia. She speaks tagalog most of the time but I can understand her, medyo taglish din siya because according to her, nahawa siya sakin.

"Yay. Mabuti yan!" And I'm still trying hard to speak tagalog. Lol. Zonia laughed at me and I gave her the 'whats-funny' look.

RIIIIIINGGG!! RIIIIINGGG!!

It's bell already, signaling us na recess time is over. Umakyat na kami sa classroom and then nakasabay namin si Bailey May.. Omg. Okay, to get things straight, yuuuup I do have a crush on Bailey May since 7th grade up to now, on our 9th grade. I mean everyone has a crush on him, he is so handsome kaya. Only Zonia and Ryan knows I like him. Ryan is also our best friend but he didn't get to join us for recess earlier because he had an exam to finish. That's also the reason why me and Zonia were so quiet awhile ago, Ryan is like the life of the party. Lol. Anyways, we reached our classroom. We belong to section 2, there are currently 4 sections in our batch. Zonia and I are seat mates for a quarter now and it's really fun being seat mates with her. The vice president of our batch entered our classroom, I think she has an announcement.

"Hi section 2! Ms. Dela Cruz asked me to announce that you have to change seats for the second quarter because she noticed that you guys are comfortable with your seat mates already and it's causing a lot of noise. I have here a paper, it's your new seat plan and I'm going to post it on your blackboard, you have to change now because the teachers will check your arrangement. Thank you and have a nice day." Barbie Imperial is our vice president and I think she is Bailey's crush according to Ryan. Lol I hope it isn't true though. Anyways, let's see who my new seat mate is.

"Ylona! Oh my gosh!!!" Zonia ran to me before I could even look at the new seat plan.

"Oh bakit?" Me.

"Seat mate mo si Bailey! Napakadayaaa! Ughhhh!" Zonia. Is it true!?

I checked the seat plan and yes.... IT IS TRUE. OMG SEAT MATE KO SI BAILEY! O.o

I grabbed my stuff and sat beside Bailey because according to Barbie, we need to change seats now. I gave Bailey a smile and he also did then looked at the other direction. What is wrong with him!?

Bailey's POV
This Ylona girl... I don't know why I'm blushing.. I just find her really pretty since 7th grade and now we're seat mates. We never really got to talk to each other unless it's about schoolwork. She smiled at me and I did smile back but she might notice I'm red so I faced the other direction.

A few minutes later, Ms. Dela Cruz entered the classroom with Barbie, the vice president. Barbie is my crush, she is just so flawless, smart, beautiful, kind and I don't know man, she is the definition of perfection.

"Everyone, please thank Barbie with the seat plan. It wouldn't be possible to make one without her help." Ms. Dela Cruz.

"Thank you, Barbie." The students thanked her, she smiled and left the classroom because she belongs to section 4. Ms. Dela Cruz left also. I hope Barbie belongs to this section, I just want to see her all the time :(

"Hey, are you okay?" I was shocked, it's the first time Ylona talked to me.

"Y-yeah. I'm okay." I answered.

"That's great! By the way, I'm Ylona. I thought we should know each other better since we're going to be seat mates for one long quarter." She smiled.

"Yeah, I guess so. I'm Bailey. Hi!" I smiled back.

"So uhm.. Let's start off by our likes and dislikes? You start." Ylona.

"I like... Ice cream, banana bread, munchkins and singing. I dislike snakes and vegetables. Now it's your turn." I gave her a smirk.

"Hmm.. I like waffles, fries and singing also. I dislike rude people. That's all." She smiled with a wink. What's that supposed to mean? Lol.

"You sing too? That's awesome. We have one thing in common." Me.

"Yes, can you sing right now?" Ylona. Is she kidding.. I don't sing in public.

"No way! Haha ikaw nalang!" Me. Attempted to speak tagalog again hahaha.

"Sure!" She faced me and started singing.

I gotta know what to do,

Her voice is honestly so beautiful. "So.. How is it?" She asked.

"Ylona, it's beautiful." I smiled at her.

"Really.. Wow, thank you.." She's blushing. She is so cute right now.

"Your song choice is also nice. I like the song, who sang it?" Me.

"I did. I made the song. The title is Win The Fight." Ylona. Woah she made the song?!

"You are so talented. Seriously, woah!" Me.

"Thank you." She laughed because I was OA, she said. Lol hahaha.

"We only started talking like minutes ago and I feel comfortable with you already." I said.

"Yeah. I know right. It's crazy!" She laughed.

Our English teacher, Ms. Murillo, entered the classroom and started teaching new lessons. It was a signal for me and Ylona to stop talking. We smiled at each other and got our notebooks.

I feel like this quarter is going to be amazing. I hope this quarter won't end please.
