Not What I Thought

After work, I went home. Deciding to take my dog for a walk, I changed into my PINK sweatpants, a sweatshirt, and let my hair unravel down my back. It was the middle of January, so I slid on my favorite Uggs, and clipped my lab, Max, onto his leash. Once outside, we headed north-east to the dog park, our usually spot. Today was different though. Something seemed off.
My phone began to ring just before I was about to cross the street. Stopping to check who it was, the caller ID said it was my brother.
I picked up to hear Derrick's voice. "Tonia we need to talk, its been forever You haven't talked to anyone in the family since mom past."
"It's none of your business what I do," I replied, irritated. "Goodbye."
I ended the call. I looked up to find a man staring at me. Before I had time to figure out who he was, he was gone. Ignoring it, I continued my way to the park.

Max enjoyed every minute of being outside, but as we neared the house, he started to wander off. He knew we were almost home.
We finally made it back to the house with lots of mischief due to the neighborhood cat, who is an often visitor on our walks.
I unleashed Max. He pranced happily to my room, knowing it was almost time for bed.
Slipping my boots off', I headed to the bathroom, having to pee extremely bad and needing to brush my teeth.
I did what I needed and headed to bed, since I have to be up at 8 A.M. for church. I slowly drifted off to my phone playing Broken- Seether ft. Amy Lee
