"So to start I thought we could check out whether or not the beach is good enough for us to spend our time there." Carter spoke.
"I absolutely love the beach! It's always been a beauty to look at." Fiona agreed."it's
"The beach is probably fantastic. I just find it weird that we never even touched the sand until Andre and Renae came to stay at dthe beach house." Paisley was right. I guess we never did go on the beach.
"Beach it is then." I finish the conversation. Andre gives me an angry look with many other emotions behind it. I knew he wasn't used to talking that often. After just coming off sign language he's been trying to adapt to talking More often. That's why I push him so hard to talk, so things can be normal again. I don't know exactly what happened the day of the accident, but I do know that infected water was the cause of it. The only reason he's able to hear right now is be cause of the tubes in his ears. The one I know that he doesn't is that I felt the same way he did at the time. It was some sort of internal connection.
My thought were soon severed by the cry of a toddler dropping their ice cream.
"Here we are!" Fiona screamed running into the ocean with all of her clothes on. Even though it wasn't much. Just a tank and some really short shorts.
"Sometimes I get scared she will never mature." We all nod our heads in agreement.
"Yeah, and I'm afraid you'll never have fun!" Paisley said running off grabbing Carter's hand while dragging him into the water.
I glanced at Andre and looked away. Until I heard him speak.
"If you can't beat 'em, join 'em!" He said knocking me over after throwing his shoes and thin jacket in the pile with the others and joined them.
After they were all in the water, I walked around for a little bit. I mostly stayed by the rocks and looked out into the water. It's so beautiful. I looked at the big boulders and stepped on them carefully trying not to trip. As I was walking across the rocks I came across a big, gaping hole. The hole was big enough for a king size bed to fit through it. As for inside, that I need to find out.
I stuck my head inside of the hole and put on my phone flashlight and shined it in there. It seemed as if this small cave leaked on forever.
Renae...
I jumped at the sound of someone whispering my name, but I was still interested to get my answers with this cave. So I peered my head back into the hole.
Renae... Come to me child... We need you...... all of you.....
I listened to the voice and my eyes widened. I scattered back and bumped into a pair of legs.
"What's going on?" Paisley's sweet voice uttered calmly.
"Umm..." I remained silent for a few seconds thinking of an excuse so I wouldn't freak her out too bad. "Uh, I dropped my bracelet..." I said hoping she would take that lie.
"Oh, sorry. I can get you another you'd like?" She asked politely.
"Oh, no, i'm fine." I replied nonchalantly.
"Oh, okay. Why don't you come into the water with us?" She asked.
"Umm..." I looked back at the cave one last time. "Yeah. Let's go." I got up and brushed off my pants. I need to find out what's in there.

It was about 9:00 at night and the only people still up were Paisley, Carter, Madison, Josh, Fiona, Andre, and I. A few of the pups were still roaming around, but they were already in their pajamas. We were supposed to be watching a "scary" movie, but it was actually quite funny.
Renae... Don't ignore my call.... We need you.... all of you...
The whispering voice echoed again through my head this time sending shivers down my spine.
"You okay?" He asked me with a pinch of worry in his voice.
"Oh, yeah, i'm fine. Guys I think i'm going to go to bed a little early." I threw the blanket me and Andre were sharing and put my half on the couch.
"Night." They all said and continued to watch their movie.
As I went into my room I didn't bother to take off my clothes. I plopped down in my bed and pulled the covers over my head. I can just wait until morning to figure this all out right? Either way that's what I am going to have to do. My parents would kill me if I left the house right now.
Renae... we can't wait any longer... we need you and your friends now.
At this point I sprung out of my bed like a bat out of hell. This voice was forceful. I can tell that it's not playing around anymore. I have to take a risk. I'm living this instant. I grabbed what was necessary. I won't need a flashlight because my phone has that. I grabbed a jacket because it would be really cold at this time of the night and that is really all that I will need I walked back down staies and snuck past the 7 without them noticing. As I pulled open the door knob I heard footsteps approach me.
"Now what do you think you are doing?" Fiona asked me with a soda in her hand.
"Absolutely nothing." I replied standing up straight.
"Renae Faith, I know for a fact you are up to something sneaky. I want in, or I tell everyone who's up." She was a conniving little jerk sometimes but hey, friends are friends.
"Please don't tell me I'm crazy, but a voice has been following me around since we came from the beach. I know where it is coming from and I need to find out why."
"Okay, then why are you going alone?" I got a little quiet and looked down.
"Well your not going alone." She said, one hand on hip.
"Definetly not." I heard Carters voice say.
"Because we're going with you." Andre said and I smiled at them all.
"This is why I love you guys."
