Phoenix's POV:
"Morgan,we can't just pack up and leave! I have family and everything here. My life is here in Wisconsin! I can't do it. I refuse." The conversation between my best friend,Morgan, and I,replayed through my head for who knows how long. Currently,we were flying over Las Vegas,Nevada. I literally didn't have a choice in this matter,as Morgan had already purchased both tickets and had bought us an apartment in Venice,California. I didn't know what was going on in this girls mind. We were total opposites, but opposites attract, right?

"Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for flying with Wisconsin Airways,we will be landing in roughly 2 minutes. Thank you." A lady over the intercom said in a sweet voice. I looked over at Morgan, her mouth open and slight snores coming from her mouth. "Wake up." I said shaking her until she shot up. "What? I'm awake." She said and I chuckled. "Were landing." I told her, looking out of the window as we descended out of the clouds. Eventually, the wheels hit the ground and we stopped. "It is safe to exit the plane." The lady said, before walking over to the exit and helping open the hatch. I stood up,my leg numb from lack of movement. I internally groaned and slowly made my way off of the plane with Morgan by my side.

Morgues POV:
"Todd. I have a new act that is going to blow everyone away, but I could die." I said, walking up to my boss. "Great! Except for the dying part. Why don't you show us?" He asked. "Well,I would, but I'd actually like for it to be a surprise for the show tonight." I said and gave me a quizzical look before sighing and giving a small nod. "Just don't get yourself hurt too bad." He told me before walking off to his wife,Danielle. I walked over to my case of swords and pulled them out one by one, disinfecting them. "Hey Morgue." A small voice behind me said. I smirked softly before turning to see Asia. "Hi." I answered bluntly, continuing with my swords. "I heard you talking to my father,so what are you going to do at the show?" She asked me. I'd told Asia many things and she'd never told a soul about them, which was why she was my best friend, something I didn't have growing up. "You'll have to wait and see. I'm not telling anyone this time, not even you." Her face falling as I spoke. "Just made sure theres paramedics nearby." I said, grinning,as her eyes widened. I flashed her a wink, watching her walk away. Oh,it was going to be a good show.

Phoenix's POV
"Hi. Welcome to Shady Acres Apartment Complex." A man at the front desk greeted Morgan and I. Usually, apartments didn't have a front desk,so what was the need for one here? "Hello. Uhm,me and my friend have reserved an apartment here. Phoenix Arizona or Morgan Saunders." I told the man. He seemed to be late 40s,early 50s. His hair was grey and he had many wrinkles, telling me he had been under a lot of stress in the past years. "Ah here it is. Apartment 420." I heard Morgan chuckle and turned to see her smirk. 420 was her favorite number, you probably know why. We got our keys to the room and we headed up on the elevator. It stopped on the 4th floor and we stepped out, carrying our suitcases and other belongings behind us and in our hands. Most had already been shipped here,I was wondering where all my stuff had went in the past week. "Well..this is it." I stopped in front of apartment 420. "Home sweet home." Morgan said, opening the door and walking inside.
---
It was a very roomy apartment. Downstairs, there was 2 bedrooms,a kitchen,2 bathrooms, a living room, and upstairs, there was another bedroom with a connected bathroom, the biggest of them all. "Dibs!" I yelled, just as Morgan was about too. She gave me a playful glare before walking out of the room. After she left,I shut the door and ran to the bed, jumping onto it and taking a deep breath. Here I was,in Venice California,a whole new world to me. In my hometown of Shawano,Wisconsin, there were literally just 400 people. Crazy, right? *Hey girl. Get ready. Were going out ;) wear something that doesn't make you look like a prude.* What a nice text,Morgan.

Sighing,I walked into the bathroom and looked over myself in the mirror. Wow...I actually left looking like this? My hair was literally in tangles everywhere,my makeup was smudged,my lipstick had somehow rubbed off on each side of my mouth. I cringed at my reflection before turning on the hot shower. Stripping down,I hopped in and quickly washed my hair, savoring the nice feeling. I bathed myself them climbed out, wrapping a towel around my self and my hair. Now..what to wear. I personally didn't think anything I had was 'prude' to be honest. Walking to my suitcases,I decided to wear my favorite skinny jeans and a one of those ugly Christmas sweater,my favorite clothing item. I slipped them on and grabbed my makeup bag. This would take a while. I applied foundation, powder, winged eyeliner, blush, mascara, filled in my eyebrows, then added my signature bright red lipstick. I looked at my reflection, happy with the outcome. Taking the towel off my head,I plugged in my hair dryer and began to dry my wavy hair. After it was completely dry,I decided to leave it wavy,as it suited me more than straightened hair. I added a pair of black combat boots and walked downstairs where Morgan was, scanning my body. "Oh god,no. Were doing something we've never done tonight and it's not even Christmas,so take that thing off right now." She ordered me. I gave her a small pout, but she just glared at me. "Ugh,fine. But,I literally have no idea what else to wear." I said, leaving her with a big smirk. "Well,we'll have a look in my stuff." She said, walking by,grabbing my arm in the process and pulling me into one of the downstairs bedrooms. I sat on the bed as she roamed through her suitcases, until she pulled out a very uncomfortable looking black dress, with a corset and crazy high black heels by their side. "No way,Morgan! I'll fall and kill myself." I said, fear coming over me just by looking at the shoes. "Oh woman up." She said throwing them at me to land in front of me. "I'm going to do my makeup and when I come back, you better have this on." She said in a tone that I knew she was not messing around. I gulped and watched her leave. I sighed and slowly slipped my clothes off and put the dress on. Wow it was hard to breathe in this thing. I sat down on the bed and pushed my feet into the heels and stood up,placing my arms out as if to balance me. "Morgan!" I yelled as she came running in,half of her face done in makeup and half not so done. "Wow you look great! You should dress like this more often." She said, nudging me,making me fall onto the bed. "I can't walk in these." I said sighing. She pulled me to my feet. "Girl, strut your stuff and walk. Don't give me that you can't because you can. Just do it." She ordered, pointing to the other side of the room. "There and back. Go! Go! Go!" She said, clapping her hands, making me move. I quickly made my way over to the other side of the room,my feet wiggling, myself trying not to collapse. I made it to the other side of the room and back before I decided I could stand these for one night. "Great,I'll finish getting ready and then we'll go." She said, walking out. "Where are we going anyway?" I asked, watching her pop back in the doorway. Her eyes were lit up,and a smile made a way onto her face. "A Freakshow."
