*Mark POV
It wasn't a coincidence we have been through the same issues. I understand the pain, the feeling of being ripped to shreds and suffer. The feeling of withering away. I wiped away her tears and kiss her. I'm her only hope. The only reliable one. The one that could make her happy.

"Kate, lets go home now." I say starting the car.
"That works for me." she says, wiping away the excess tears.
"You okay?" I say shifting the gear.
"Yeah totally fine." She adjusts her sitting position and looks straight ahead.
"Let's go."

The drive took about 20 minutes to get to my house. I didn't want to leave her alone. After I parked into the driveway, I look next to me. A sleeping beauty. I did not want to wake her so I just carried her bridal style upstairs to my bed. I gently lay her down, cover her with blankets, and let her sleep. I get ready quietly for bed and sleep on the other end.

I woke up during the middle of the night due to a mysterious hand touching my back. I jump up. At that exact moment I remembered Kate was here. My beautiful. My lovely. Mine. Half awake, Kate pulls me back down from my panicked state and pulls me close to her.
"Shhhhhhh." She says and kisses me on the forehead. "Go back to sleep."
"Of course my dear."
I cuddle with her and we fall back into a deep sleep.
