Sad Love

Prologue

Dakota didn't like the life she was living. She tried her very best in everything just to please everybody. Dakota thought that making everyone happy that she was following what they told to do, but that was never true. Even though she got scholarship worthy grades and did every thing academic just because she had no idea how to just say no to someone. She never wanted someone disappointed in her, but really she actually felt disappointed in herself.
For not pursuing what she loved to do.
For saying yes to everything everyone said she do.
For her life felt like she couldn't control it and she only lived to have her life told to her by other people... Not herself.

She never could take a deep breath for every second Dakota could only take short quick breaths to keep up with everything...

All the steps she took weren't from her own feet.

There were no chains holding her back she never despised heralded enough to do self-harm. Only fearing of people hating her and never being able to say 'no'.

The worst was when she could never sleep and cried and cried at night no one hearing, for her parents didn't care if she felt sad they only wanted her to do what they said.
Her dad had hit her a couple times because she tried doing something different or had gotten a bad grade. But he never hit constantly it was only once at a time. Dakota hated it more because it would be at their dinning table while eating her mother even watched.
No care that Dakota got hit, for her mother believed it was right to hit so Dakota learned from what she did wrong.

Dakota hated to sleep too.
Every time her eyes closed she thought of her dad hitting her. She grew a case insomnia. Even if sleep was a remedy for peace it never fully worked. She had to take pills just to sleep, but that only lasted for a couple of hours before it was school.

School wasn't bad but she was pressured with all of her classes which were advanced, and no fun electives.

But then her parents decided to match her up with one of their friends son. Dakota didn't mind she thought he would be kind to her and relived some stress for her. Her parents set up the blind date at some fancy restaurant. They said that he would be new to the school and a senior like her.
They thought since it was already senior year it was time for her to get someone rich for when she got out of collage. Dakota wasn't so sure that she would end up with him after highschool. But she said yes to seeing him.
