I was sitting in the living rocking this baby to sleep when dd called me

He Then hung up as I sighed,I looked down at the baby and then stood up going upstairs.i still didn't know the gender nor the name
When I went to the store I bought baby bottles,clothes,wipes, diapers,toys,and a pacifier
Still not knowing what to do with it I mentally couldn't decide.so I just decided to take care of it until further notice
As I was walking upstairs the baby started crying,in my room I placed the baby on the bed and grabbed a diaper and the wipes.I assumed the baby needed a change because it hadn't went to the bathroom since yesterday.
I unzipped the onesie and took off the diaper and found out the gender
Oh...your a girl-I said itching my head
As she continued to cry I changed her diaper and lifted her up patting her back as she soon stopped crying.
I lowkey knew you were a girl*lifts baby*your pretty
As I said that she giggled and blew spit bubbles at me.

After ddot left to go"handle some business"he left the baby with me
I picked her up and looked at her.she was beautiful can't lie
She was brownskin with curly hair and big brown and blue eyes with pink lips
Aww your so prettyyy what's your name beautiful?
She babbled a response making me smile a little bit,not knowing nothing about her I laid her on my chest and thought about it.what if me and ddot become parents?
All we have to do is adopt her,we're legally allowed to...
I do want her...but how will we know if she wants us?
I laid down staring up at the celling thinking about my choice until ddot came back home.

I pushed open the bedroom door to see Diana and the baby in the bed,thinking they were sleep I went over to them to see Diana was still up

Diana:I want to adopt her
I raised my eyebrows and made a "tsk"sound

Diana:yes,we are old enough legally and I just don't want to keep her without becoming attached,I want to actually be something to her.
I paused and thought about it...

I handed the judge my id and my birth certificate as I rolled her back and forth
—10 minutes later—
Judge:ok I have concluded yall are fit parents just sign here and there and yall will be free to go
I grabbed the pen and signed the paper passing the pen to Diana watching her sign it.
Judge:and there we go anything I can do?

The judge smiled at us and we walked out
Diana:wow...she's our baby now

Diana:what should we name her
Mmm...wait don't we have to go somewhere for that
Diana:you have her birth certificate?

Diana:so nope we can come up with it and I'll print a birth certificate out and put her name on it
