I Need Someone(A Marishire Fanfic)

Chapter Four

Mari's P.O.V.

After work I texted Joven.
Mari-Hey I'm leaving work and I'm on my way.
Joven-Ok see you in a bit.

I grabbed my coat and keys and headed out the door.I walked to my car and took off.

After 20 minutes I arrived at Joven's house.I walked up to the door and knocked.He answered the door after a few seconds dressed in his pajamas.

"Hey Mari."He said.

"Hey Jovie."I replied.

"Come in."

"Thanks."I walked in and he already had his Xbox One on.It looked like he was playing MKX.

"So do you want something to eat."He asked sounding a litte nervous.

"Yeah sure a ham sandwich would be nice."I said while I sat down on the couch.

"Here you go Mari."He said handing me the sandwich.

"Thanks."I took a bite out of my sandwich."So what are you playing?"

"I am playing king of the hill on Mortal Kombat X."

"What's king of the hill?"I asked.

"Basically there is a survivor and he/her has to fight through other players.If he wins he fights another player,but if he loses he goes to the bottom and the winner becomes the survivor."

"So it's like a tournament?"

"Kind of like that.Do you want to play."

"Sure."I put down my sandwich on a plate and he handed me his controller.I tried to fight but this guy was using long combos and wouldn't give me a chance to fight.I lost in a flash.

"Oh my God he didn't even give me a fighting chance.He's like MLG or something."I complained almost screaming.

"Ha #marirage."He said still laughing.

"Oh ha ha very funny."I said sarcastically.

"Yes it is very funny."

"Let's see what you can do mister."I said handing him the controller.

"Ok fine then miss."When it was Joven's turn to fight he picked Scorpion.When they started,he was kicking this guy's ass.I couldn't believe it he actually won.

"And that my little Mari is how it's done."He said sounding all confident.

"When did you learn all that?"I asked still stunned.

"I just learned I guess."

"Alright my turn."I tried to play but I lost BAD.I was yelling the entire match and I could hear Joven's signature walrus laugh.When I finished I could hear my phone go off.
I pulled my phone out and looked at my phone.

It was something about Twitter.I went to Twitter and saw a tweet from Joven.

'@AtomicMari Me and Mari are playing MKX and she was yelling and raging #marirage.'

"Jovie really?"I asked pretending to be really mad.

"Yep."He replied laughing really hard.

"Ok that's it."I dropped the controller and chased after him.

"Oh crap."He said getting up and running.

I chased him though the hallway and up the stairs.He suddenly triped and fell.I also fell and I landed on top of him.We stared into each others eyes for what felt like forever.He started to lean in and I closed the space between us.We kissed and it was amazing.I felt fireworks just like I always dreamt of.

We pulled apart and I got up and then he did too.I grabbed his arm and lead him to his bedroom.We started to cuddle and I felt sleepy after a while.Before I fell asleep Joven whispered,"I love you Mari."

"I love you too Jovie."I whispered back.

I then realized that we left the game on...oh well.
